Best Operators in Rainbow Six Extraction

Rainbow Six Extraction features 18 playable Operators at launch. Although the game is best enjoyed when you switch between characters, there are some who have an edge over the others. Here's our take on the best Operators to use in R6 Extraction.

1. DOC

• Ability: Stim Pistol
• Weapon: SG-CQB Shotgun

Doc is a true support class operator thanks to his close-range weapon and healing gadget. Stim Pistol can be used to provide Health Shots to self and teammates. It can also be used to revive a teammate when downed.

2. LION

• Ability: EE-ONE-D Drone
• Weapon: V308 Assault Rifle

Lion's Drone allows him to scan his surroundings for any moving Archaeans, even through objects. This makes him a great choice for stealth incursions. Keep in mind that his gadget does have a cooldown timer which needs to be reset for reuse.

3. JAGER

• Ability: Active Defense System
• Weapon: M870 Shotgun

Another character designed for close-range operations who also comes with an effective defense system. Jager's automated ADS gadget intercepts enemies and incoming projectiles. You can stack multiple turrets together for a greater, more powerful defensive position.

4. PULSE

• Ability: HB-7
• Weapon: M1014 Shotgun

Pulse's HB-7 sensor allows you to scan and mark hostile elements such as VIPs, MIAs, and Nests through walls. Unlike Lion, he has the ability to identify and mark stationary targets, but he can't scan every major Archaean.

5. ROOK

• Ability: Armor Plates
• Weapon: P90 Submachine Gun

Rook can supply armor plates to himself and his squad. This equipment gives you Boost Health points and damage resistance. Moreover, after equipping armor, you get downed instead of getting knocked out.

This list doesn't mean that the Operators not included here are bad or unusable in any way. You should try out every character yourself and figure out which one suits you best. Furthermore, using different Operators helps in keeping the gameplay experience fresh for longer.
