Everything we know about Ready or Not 1.0's full release today

In today's day and age, it's hard for me to say a game has been made with passion. However, if there is one game I can say that about, it's Ready or Not. We have had plenty of releases in the past with special abilities, flying, and whatnot. While that was exciting for a little while, a part of me has longed for that intense and realistic gameplay with a storyline that doesn't feel too unnatural.

Ready or Not has done all that ever since its early access. The game has been incredibly well-received by every single person who has played it, and with the full release, it seems like it's only going to get better.

What's new in Ready or Not 1.0?

  • Realism
    • One of the most frequently mentioned words when discussing Ready or Not is realism. The full release of the game will be no different, with every single detail planned out for the utmost authenticity. The SWAT uniforms will be identical to those worn by real life officers.
    • The tactical equipment available to the officers will be identical to the gear used by real-life SWAT members, including aspects such as mechanics, range, accuracy, and recoil. All of this is designed to provide you with the most immersive experience possible.
    • The game will feature an atmosphere suitable for real-life combat scenarios. Cars, walls crumble beneath your feet, and doors get knocked down, in a very realistic manner to illustrate how quickly things can change.

  • Artificial Intelligence (AI)
    • AI has been a huge point of discussion with Ready or Not since artificial intelligence is going to play a key role in the tactical situations that occur in the game since every scenario is going to be incredibly dynamic to reflect how things can go south at any given point in real life.
    • You will be expected to make split-second decisions as a result of these changing circumstances, which will test your ability to handle the intense, unfolding scenarios the game will throw at you.
    • The new animations will be what you would expect from a game that emphasizes realism and authenticity. The behavior of NPCs will be unpredictable and constantly changing in response to different situations.

What I've mentioned here is just a glimpse of what's to come, according to what I've learned. The full release of the game will offer much more than that. As we haven't received specific details about the missions, such as the maps we'll play on and the exact equipment we're going to use, it's unclear what the missions are going to entail.

However, I do know that Ready or Not 1.0 is going to have improved and expanded mod support, which is very welcome.
