Red Dead Redemption 3 Release Date and Rumors: RDR3

Are you ready for the next adventure?

Red Dead Redemption 2, the third entry in the Red Dead series, was released eight years after the first Red Dead Redemption game and five years after GTA 5. Rockstar has confirmed the existence of GTA 6 through leaks, but no potential release dates have been announced. Considering this, it's widely thought that Red Dead Redemption 3 might be the next game that the critically-acclaimed company will be working on. Based on Rockstar's pattern of releasing either a Red Dead or GTA game every five years or so, it is unlikely that Red Dead Redemption 3 will be released for at least another seven to eight years if GTA 6 is expected to come out in 2023 or 2024.

What is the release date of Red Dead Redemption 3?

The release date for Red Dead Redemption 3 is so far in the distance that it wouldn't be wise to even think of a possible release date. Realistically, Rockstar Games has a track record of waiting almost half a decade between game releases. Considering this, as well as discussions about workplace crunch that happened during the development of Red Dead Redemption 2, it's possible that we will need to wait until 2030 for the release of this title.

What platforms will Red Dead Redemption 3 be on?

While there is no way to tell what platforms a game will be on so long before its release, it is safe to say that it will release on all current consoles and PC. Right now, the most modern home consoles are the Xbox One Series X|S and the PlayStation 5, but there's no telling if a new version of these will be available once Red Dead Redemption 3 comes out.
