The Christmas event in 99 Nights in the Forest reaches its climax with the arrival of Imposter Santa, a new boss that takes over the North Pole Workshop and halts present production. Defeating Imposter Santa is the final objective of Christmas Week 3. You need to do so to restore the workshop, unlock the Present Machine, and get tons of Candy Canes, rare loot, and access to newly added Elf Shop rewards. So, here's a complete guide on how to find and beat the Fake Santa in 99 Nights in the Forest.
How to Find Imposter Santa in 99 Nights in the Forest

Imposter Santa is located inside the large red wooden workshop in the North Pole Biome, but reaching him requires several prerequisites. First, your campfire must be upgraded to level four, which is the maximum level needed to unlock access to the North Pole area.
Once inside the biome, you must make it safe by decorating all twelve Christmas Trees using Christmas Lights. These lights drop randomly from regular trees and hostile mobs such as Wolves while exploring the forest. After lighting all twelve trees, a cutscene plays confirming the biome is secured, letting you enter the workshop where Imposter Santa resides.
How to Beat Imposter Santa in 99 Nights in the Forest
Before facing the boss, you need to clear the workshop’s defenses. Inside the building are three Candy Turrets that must be destroyed. The first turret is positioned near the entrance and requires a Ladder to reach.
The second turret is mounted under a doorway deeper inside the building. The third and final turret is hidden underground in a snow-covered section, which can only be accessed using a Shovel.
Each turret fires in a fixed forward arc and cannot rotate fully, best way to destroy them is to approach from behind. Turrets deal heavy damage if ignored, so you need to destroy them quickly. Destroying each turret rewards two Candy Canes.
After all turrets are destroyed, Imposter Santa appears as the final boss. He attacks directly and may occasionally deploy additional turrets during the fight. These can also be destroyed for extra Candy Canes. The fight itself is a damage race, so you need to keep using melee or ranged attacks until he is defeated.
Imposter Santa - Boss Rewards
Defeating Imposter Santa immediately reactivates the workshop and starts the Present Machine. This machine spawns three Presents, each containing a mix of Candy Canes and high-tier loot such as weapons and survival gear. One of these is always a Golden Present Box, which guarantees an extra five Candy Canes in addition to rare items.
Beyond these rewards, you can also buy new items in the Elf Shop. These include cosmetic furniture, special event flames, pet skins, and utility items like the Gem Pack, which converts Candy Canes into Diamonds.
