As of the World 5 Update, three different events can spawn in +1 Speed Monkey Escape: Race, Quantum Treadmill, and Secret Door. Different events can spawn in +1 Speed Monkey Escape as you’re playing the game. These events give you a chance to earn some extra wins, grab some free potions and charms, and speed up your progression. All +1 Speed Monkey Escape events are time-limited. So, when an event starts, you need to jump into action instantly. This guide provides a detailed breakdown of each event so you know exactly what to do when an event announcement appears on your screen.
What Are All The Events in +1 Speed Monkey Escape
As of the World 5 Update, three global events can spawn in +1 Speed Monkey Escape: Race, Quantum Treadmill, and Secret Door. Read on to learn all the details about each event, as well as some tips and tricks to make the most of each event.
1. Race Event
- Spawns: Every 15 minutes.
- Duration: N/A (ends when someone completes the race or there aren’t enough players left in the race).
- Requirements: 3 players must join the race, or the event will despawn. Must have at least 180 Speed to be able to race on the racetracks.
- Best For: PvP racing. Winners can get Wins and Potions as a reward.
The Race event is a PvP event in +1 Speed Monkey Escape. Every 15 minutes, a pop-up will appear on your screen asking whether you want to join the Race. If you click Yes, you’ll get teleported to a race track. The race begins once three players in the server choose Yes before the message disappears.
Once the race begins, you have to compete with other players and reach the end of the racetrack/map before everyone else. There are three different racetracks that the event shuffles between. Players can’t choose the racetrack.
2. Quantum Treadmill
- Spawns: Once every hour (server time).
- Duration: Stays in the server for 5 minutes.
- Best For: Farming Levels.
The Quantum Treadmill is a beginner-focused event that allows you to farm Speed and Levels. Running on the Quantum Treadmill grants 10x Speed per step, making it the perfect event for beginners.
The Quantum Treadmill can spawn in any World. When it spawns, a message will also appear on your screen that shows which World the Quantum Treadmill has spawned in.
Once the treadmill spawns, it will stay in the server for 5 minutes. Everyone in the server can use the treadmill at once to farm speed and levels. The table below shows where the Quantum Treadmill spawns in all the Worlds of +1 Speed Monkey Escape:

3. Secret Door
- Spawns: Completely random.
- Duration: Stays in the server for 5 minutes.
- Best For: Obtaining free Charms.
Similar to the Quantum Treadmill, the Secret Door can spawn in any World. When it spawns in your server, a message will appear on your screen showing exactly which world the Secret Door has spawned in.
To open the Secret Door, you need to first find a golden key. The key has a chance to spawn in any accessible area of the world where the Secret Door has spawned. So, if the Secret Door spawns in World 3, you’ll find the key in World 3 as well.
Behind the Secret Door, you’ll find various treasure chests that you can open to claim rewards that include free Charms and Wins.
