In DTI, players can get the Trident of the Shell, an exclusive item, by collecting the three Sea Shells inside the Cave. While this sounds easy on paper, it is a challenging quest that requires you to open the Cave by collecting the Gems and then finding the Sea Shells to open a secret location where you can find the Trident of the Shell. So, if you are confused about how to do it, here is a detailed guide.
How to open the Cave in Dress to Impress
As mentioned earlier, you must open the Cave near the Beach adjacent to the Scarlet NPC to get the Trident of the Shell item. For this, you must collect five gems of different colors by finishing the quests associated with them.
- Red Gem: Walk straight from the Scarlet Pirate NPC to find an upside-down bird. Interact with it to start the Flappy Bird-style mini-game. Get more than 35+ points to get the Gem.
- Green Gem: Enter the Backroom using the stone rectangle diagram opposite the volleyball play area. Explore until you find the Lana cutout and a secret room at the end of that corridor. Dig all the spots until you get a Green Gem inside the room.
- Purple Gem: Go to the Dressing Room, equip a Football from the stand. Change the skin to a Beach Ball and play with the NPC on the Volleyball Court in front of the Cave to win the Purple Gem.
- Blue Gem: Go to Lana's Beach House and climb the ladder to find a Hammer on top of the bookshelf. Leave the house to find a large Coconut on the left side in front of the Shop. Use the Hammer to break it to receive a coin. Teleport to the Recording Studios, use the coin in the fountain in the ice room to get the Blue Gem.
- Yellow Gem: Find five unlit Lanterns across the entire beach area and turn them on one by one to receive the Yellow Gem at the foot of the main staircase that takes you to the Beach.

How to find the three Seashells in Dress to Impress
Below are all three Seashell locations in Dress to Impress to get the Trident of Shells secret item.
Seashell Location 1
Inside the Cave, if you look down towards the right side, you can find a broken ship at the bottom. Jump down and go towards the ship to find a Seashell on top of a wooden barrel.
Seashell Location 2
The next one is near the first one. After climbing out of the ship, you can find a broken barrel on the ground with a Shell at the center, with a few broken wooden planks around.
Seashell Location 3
The final Seashell is on top of a circular white arch adjacent to the central Treasure Chest box where you get the Scarlet Doll. Walk to the right from the box to find this arch.
Remember, you can only pick up one Seashell at a time. So, each time you collect a Seashell, go to the Pedestal Area opposite Seashell Location 3 to place it down. Repeat the steps until you have all three Sea Shells. Now, a secret place will open behind the pedestal area where you can find the Trident of the Shells at the center. Walk a little behind it to get the Seashell Crown on top of an anchor as well.
