Players must complete quests like lighting up jack-o'-lanterns, fixing tilted posters, turning on TVs, finding torn photographs & locating a gourdy's plushie to collect all seven Gourdy Lockbox pieces and unlock the Locked Away Badge.
Dandy's World Halloween Gourdy's Quest centers on finding 7 Lockbox Pieces across the map to earn the Locked Away Badge. While some keys are pretty straightforward to obtain, others are carefully hidden behind puzzles and mini-quests. If you are struggling to find all seven pieces, here is a detailed location guide.
How do I get all 7 Lockbox Keys in Dandy's World? - Gourdy Halloween Quest
Below are details on collecting all the keys in the Gourdy Halloween Quest. As mentioned earlier, most of these are locked behind mini-quests and puzzles you must complete to obtain them.
Key 1 - Posters
Throughout the main lobby, you can find pink and yellow posters that say "Queens of Parties! Canceled." Some of these Posters are straight, while two of them are tilted. Find the two tilted posters and straighten them to proceed.
Tilted Poster 1 Location
The first Tilted Poster is right next to the elevator (game lobby) at the back of the main lobby. After spawning, walk straight down the hall and look to the left to find this poster. Interact with it to straighten it out.
Tilted Poster 2 Location
For the next one, enter the room opposite the Halloween Shop, where you'll find a room full of computers and crates. Now, check the wall of this shop for another Poster that needs to be straightened out.
Key 2 - Pumpkin Lighting
For the next Lockbox Piece Key, you must light six different Pumpkins or Jack-o'-lanterns in the game.
Pumpkin Location 1 & 2
You can find the first pumpkin under the central Tree at the back of the main lobby. From there, walk a little straight toward the elevator to find another small Pumpkin on top of a large one, as shown in the image above.
Pumpkin Location 3
For the next one, go to the OG Halloween Special Map and head right toward the back to find a grey door with a large label that says "Do Not Open" and large yellow tape across it. Right opposite this location, you'll find two pumpkins on a patch of grass. Interact with one of the pumpkins to light it up.
Pumpkin Location 4
This one is also on the OG Halloween Special Map. In this map, you can find the library section on the left side. Enter the library and go to the end to find a Pumpkin on top of a crate. It is right next to the Typewriter location where you have to go to get other Keys.
Pumpkin Location 5
Pumpkin 5 is inside the new Halloween Special map. Go to the center to find a witch cauldron and a Jack-o'-lantern next to it. This is right beside a small ramp that will take you to the other side of the map.
Pumpkin Location 6
The final pumpkin is also inside the new Halloween Special map. Here, look to the left side of the Concert stage for a shelf full of books and a Pumpkin on top. Walk straight from your spawn point to find the concert stage.
Key 3 - Turn On the Television
On Floor 5 of the Dandy's World OG Halloween Special map, you'll find a TV right outside the Library section, on top of a Crate. Turn on the Television to get the next Key.
Key 4 - Typewriter Code
For this, you again need to be on Floor 5 of the Dandy's World OG Halloween map. Walk into the library next to the TV and go to the end of this area. Here, you will find a pumpkin on the left side and another small area on the right. Walk right to find a typewriter on a table with a chair. Type the code 79-52-29 to get another piece.
Key 5 - Torn Picture 1
For Key 5, you must collect a Torn Photograph on the OG Halloween Map. After spawning, walk to the left side of the map until you find a room with a lot of lockers. In this room, you'll find a hole in the wall that leads to the Gourdy Bedroom, where a Torn Picture is on the bed.
Key 6 - Torn Picture 2
The next Gourdy Lockbox Piece also requires you to collect another Torn Picture. To do this, join the new Halloween Map Stage. From the elevator, walk straight to the end of the map, where you'll find a concert stage. Climb onto the Concert Stage and look to your left for a Torn Photograph next to the crates.
Key 7 - Gourdy Plush (OG Roleplay Mode)
The last one is pretty easy. In the lobby, select the Roleplay game mode by walking into the room with the same name on the left side of the main hall. Now, transform into a Twisted Gourdy from the Twisted list. Walk down the hallway and enter the first room on the left, then go through the room on the right to enter the second room, where you can find the Gourdy Plush sitting on a Sofa. Interact with it to get the final Puzzle Piece.
