For starters, you'll see two changes for Stands in A Universal Time:

  • Wonder of U (Legendary) - the Stand of Calamity comes back with a new moveset. You can get Wonder of U by:
    • defeating multiple bosses and getting Calamity Force
    • combining into the Total Force of Calamity
    • and then using it on Standless.
  • Soft and Wet (Legendary) - Soap Bubble Stand to overwhelm your enemies senses. You can get Soft and Wet by:
    • defeating Locacaca trees (new entity that spawns at the Beach)
    • using it on Killer Queen

Gameplay Changes

  • Dashstacking - if you perform any move while dashing, this will cancel the dash and reduce your speed to perform the move.
  • Parry Indicator - to know if a move can be parried, you will need to watch out for a glowing yellow VFX. You can disable this by going to Indicators in Settings.

All Buffs and Nerfs in A Universal Time

  • Rush Attack
    • Final Rush Attack no longer cancels blocks (remains unblockable)
  • Tusk Act 4
    • Final Poin - Like Rush Attack, this move no longer cancels blocks (remains unblockable)
    • Spinning Continuum - Now cancels blocks and first hit is unblockable
  • Yasuo
    • Rush Attack - Decreased first and second hit stun length from 0.75s to 0.6s, but decreased third hit stun length from 0.7s -> 0.35s. Rush Attack now has 0 move endlag.
    • Sweeping Blade - Just like the decreased stun for Rush Attack, this move will also see a decrease in stun from 1.5s to 0.7s
  • Soul Survivor
    • Shockwaves - Knocks non-ragdolled targets upwards instead of ragdolling them. The size in awakening is reduced from 64 to 48, as well decreased knockback height.
    • Overhead - you can now perfectly block it
    • Judgement! - decreases duration of ragdoll from 2s to 1s
    • Crush! - hitbox number reduced to only one
  • Made in Heaven
    • Knife Throw - You can't block it (perfectly or otherwise)
  • Sorcerer Killer
    • Rush Attack - Speed of Inverted Spear of Heaven Rush Attacks reduced
    • Carnage - duration increased frm 15s to 20s, plus now has extra i-frames in the amount of one second once the move ends
  • Yone
    • Soul Unbound - you can't perfectly block it
  • STWR
    • Knife Throw - you can't perfectly block secondary projectiles
    • Arrow Guard - 40 frames of endlag added, along with the change to not perfectly blockable
  • Umbra
    • Sovereign Regeneration - No longer grants passive HT regeneration, but instead grants 10% bonus meter gain
  • Weather Report
    • Lightning Strike - at the end of the move knocks back target
  • Killer Queen
    • Face Slam - you can't block it
  • Gold Experience
    • Frog Defense - you can't counter moves that bypass counters
  • Sol
    • Bladed Retaliation - you can't block it (perfectly or otherwise)
  • Nocturnus
    • Vengeful Step - you can't block it (perfectly or otherwise)
  • The World
    • Sudden Strike - you can't bypass any form of intangibility
  • Dragon Knight
    • Fire Pits - you can't heal the user anymore if their meter is full
  • Star Platinum: The World
    • Bearing Shot - you can't bypass intangibility
