How to Get the Cherry Blossom Lantern
The Cherry Blossom Lantern is the basic Lantern sold by Kuro. To find Kuro, make your way to Bamboo Grove Sanctuary at night. Then, head to the gateway near The Serpent King Obari, and you will find the Kuro NPC leaning by the gateway. Once you find him, interact with him, and then purchase the Lantern from his shop for 2,400 Wen.
How to Get the Lantern of Despair
The Lantern of Despair can be obtained by opening Ice Chests with a 6% drop chance. To get this lantern, teleport to the Shrine in Iceveil Valley. From there, travel East towards where the Reaper Trainee Kuzan spawns. She has 1530 HP and spawns inside a cave, and defeating her will reward you with an Ice Chest.
How to Get the Abyssal Lantern
The Abyssal Lantern also comes from Ice Chests and has a 2% drop chance. Similar to the Lantern of Despair, you must head to where the Reaper Trainee Kuzan Boss is. Once there, keep on farming her and opening the chest until you get the Abyssal Lantern as a drop.
How to Get the Emberheart Lantern
The Emberheart Lantern is useful in the snowy area because it provides Cold Immunity for limited time periods. It can be obtained by defeating the Yeti Demon, with a 25% drop chance. To spawn the Yeti Demon, teleport to the Shrine in Butterfly Estate, and from there make your way to the Red Bridge.
Once there, jump down the bridge and make your way to the end of the ridge. After that, you need to jump off the cliff and enter through the waterfall. Once you enter, walk straight, and you will find the Yeti Demon frozen in Ice.
Once you reach the location of the Frozen Yeti, use a Frozen Heart to start the boss fight. You can get the Frozen Heart by opening Rare Chests (10% chance) or by opening Sealed Cache Chests (10% chance), or by buying it from the Black Marketer.
How to Get the Fujiko's Lantern
You can obtain Fujiko's Lantern from Common Chests with a 1.5% drop chance. You can get these chests by either defeating the Zuko Boss near Windy Peak or by defeating Mother Bear Boss near Bamboo Grove Sanctuary.
How to Get the Mushroom Lit Lantern
To get the Mushroom Lit Lantern, first interact with Old Trapper Retsu and select the "Lantern on your belt" dialogue option while you do not have a Lantern equipped. Then, head to the cave where Reaper Trainee Kuzan spawns and stand on top of the glowing mushrooms on the extreme right side of the cave.
You need to do this with the mushrooms fast, or else the progress might get reset. Once the required mushrooms are lit, the Mushroom Lit Lantern can be collected inside the cave to the right. One thing you must keep in mind is that you should do this quest while you have no lanterns equipped, or else it won’t count.
How to Get the Nichirin Lantern
The Nichirin Lantern can be obtained from Ouwigahara dungeon chests. To enter the dungeon, head to the Forgotten Plains and travel east from there. After a little while, you will encounter the Flame Trainee Boss and to his left you will see a bridge that you will see a bridge and at the end of it, you will find a portal that takes you to Ouwigahara.
Once you enter, you must play a dungeon run, and for every 10 floors you clear, you will get an Ouwigahara Cache. The lantern has a 10% drop chance from the Ouwigahara Deep Cache and a 5% chance from the Ouwigahara Cache. You can also use 30,000 dungeon points to open Ouwigahara Chests, which have a 5% chance to drop the lantern.
How to Get the Firstlight Lantern
The Firstlight Lantern is a Mythic Lantern that can be crafted at Ouwland. However, you must first obtain its Schematic, after which you can craft the Lantern. To obtain the Schematic, you must climb up the mountain to the right of The Serpent King Obari.
It’s recommended that you have the Double Jump and the Wall Climb unlocked, or else you won’t be able to climb the cliff. Once there, enter the building and talk to the Lamplighter Isamu NPC. He will give you a memory-based objective, where you must guess and walk over the correct order of plates that were lit.
You need to do this objective for 5 rounds. If you mistakenly walk over a wrong plate, the progress will be reset, and you will need to start over. Once you have completed the five rounds, you will be rewarded with the Schematic, which you can then use to craft the Lantern.
How to Get the Lost Lantern
The Lost Lantern has a 0.9% chance of dropping from the Lost Chest. For this, you must queue for the Final Selection near Final Selection Plains past the Nezura Boss. Final Selection takes place every 2 hours, so be mindful of it.
Once you enter the Final Selection, play through the quests until you arrive at Mizuto’s quest. The quest will give a marker to where you need to go. Once you enter the underwater cave, you can farm the Lost Boss to obtain the Lost Chests.
Alternatively, you can also fish to obtain the Lost Lantern. However, it’s best if you use the Legendary Fishing Rod with good bait, as it gives a much higher chance of getting the Lost Lantern.
How to Get the Demonic Lantern
