Apart from opening towers from exclusive crates, the best way to make your existing units more potent than before is to get a trait for them. Like most TDS games, Ball Tower Defense also has the concept of traits, rebranded as Reforge. To help you make the right choice, we've compiled a list of all Reforge (traits) types in BT Tower Defense.

In the table below, I have mentioned all the Reforges (Traits) in the game and the buffs and nerfs they provide to each Tower.

How to get Reforge in Ball Tower Defense
You need Gems to get Reforge in Ball Tower Defense. You can obtain Gems by simply playing any map in the game. Each game will reward you with 1 to 10 Gems per match, depending on the difficulty settings. So, play a lot of matches to grind Gems. If you want Gems quickly, you can purchase packs directly from the shop using Robux or redeem Ball Tower Defense codes.
The next step is to visit the Reforge NPC Shop near the map selection area. Here, select your Tower and pay gems, which usually range from 20 to 80 Gems depending on the type of Tower (rarity). After paying, you immediately get a random Reforge for your unit! If you like it, keep the trait; otherwise, pay more to get a new one! Yes, the Reforge or Traits are randomly assigned to each unit, and you cannot select them manually.
How to select Reforge for your Tower in Ball Tower Defense
Instead of keeping a random Reforge for your Tower, always try to reroll for a Reforge that improves the character of your Tower. For example, if your Tower has a low range, try to add a trait like Party, Binoculars, or Ranger to strengthen its overall attack range and make it more viable than before. So, identify the weakness of your Tower and try to mask it with the correct Reforge.
