All Weather Events in DIG – Times, Effects, and More

The ever-changing weathers of Dig!

The different seasons, environmental conditions, and weather events in DIG add an extra layer of impressiveness to the digging simulator. However, some of the weather events bring more than just a visual change to Dig. Digging during one of the special weather events increases your luck, strength, and chances of getting some of the rarest items in the game. If you want to catch these weather events and capitalize on their boosts, this guide is for you.

All DIG Weather Events Listed - Effects and Time

A few weather events occur naturally in the game, while others are admin-generated and only occur then. See the table below to learn everything about all the weather events in Dig.

Clover Storm- Double server LuckOccurs during the daytime only.
Lasts for 10 minutes.
Sparkling Rainbow- Increases Shiny luck by 3%
- Spawns a Pot of Gold that can be dug up as an item
Occurs during the daytime only.
Lasts for 10 minutes.
Meteor Shower- Triple server Luck.
- A meteor falls at one of the following locations: Fernhill Forest, Verdant Vale, Copper Mesa, Rooftop Woodlands, Cinder Approach, or Mount Cinder.
- The meteor can have a Celestial Totem, Blood Crown, or the Starfire Shovel.
Occurs during the nighttime only.
Lasts for 10 minutes.
Players can summon the event by using the Radiant Horn.
Blue Moon- Double server Strength.Occurs during the nighttime only.
Lasts for 10 minutes.
Players can summon the event by using the Blue Moon Horn.
Blizzard- 45% chance of getting the Blizzard modification on items dug up when the Blizzard weather event is live.
- Higher chances of getting Iced and Verglas modification.
- Higher chances of digging up the Yeti item. 
Occurs twice a day (12 AM and 12 PM UTC) on Mount Cinder.
Lasts for 15 minutes.
Money Shower- 1.5x increase in the selling prices of every item. 
- 10% chance of getting the Greedy modification on an item.
Generated by admins during admin events.
Supernova- All items dug up during this weather event will have the Supernova modification.Generated by admins during admin events.
When Pigs Fly- 50% chance of getting the Piggy modification on every item dug up during this event.Generated by admins during admin events.
Hurricane- All items dug up during this weather event will have the Windswept modification.Generated by admins during admin events.

Apart from the special and admin weather events, there are a few other global server events that can randomly occur in Dig.

  • Dance Party - An admin event that happens at Cinder Shores. Doubles the luck for every player in Cinder Shores, and there’s a 20% chance of getting the Disco modification on items dug up during this event.
  • Double XP - Players earn double XP from all sources.
  • Double Luck - Players earn double Luck from all sources.
