How Shovel Stats Work in DIG

Each shovel in DIG has five stats, preferred ground, and possibly an ability. The stats and the preferred ground affect the digging mini-game, while the ability can affect the mini-game, other players, dug-up items, and other things. Here is what each shovel stat does and why it's important:
- Preferred Ground: You have increased Strength by ~10-20% on preferred ground.
- Control: Increases the size of the Dig Bar during the digging mini-game.
- Strength: Increases the progress gain when hitting during the digging mini-game.
- Haste: Speeds up recovery after a miss/non-strong hit.
- Luck: Increases the chance of digging up rarer items.
- Boss Damage: Affects how much damage the shovel deals to bosses.
