Anime Realms Owners Claim They Got Scammed Out of Their Game and Nobody Knows Who the New Owners Are – Peak Roblox Drama

What is going on with Anime Realms?

Drama and Roblox game owners are an amazing combo, just like a 1-placement tower and Monarch or Unique or whatever you wanna call that trait. This time, the new Anime Realms owners announced they bought the game, which then they said was just a joke, and now, the old owners are telling the community they got scammed out of the game and can't access it anymore.

So, let's go over the facts one by one. The original owner of Anime Realms, Luckk, agreed to sell the game for a still debated amount of money. The claims have so far ranged anywhere between $55,000 and $850,000, which we can all agree isn't the kind of deal you should be making on Discord.

Then, both the old owner, Luckk, and the new owner, Topgokay, started exchanging accusations over social media. Luckk, who is now apparently banned from the Anime Realms Discord server, had to resort to X, and you can find his side of the story in the post below.

Luckk X Profile

Long story short, Luckk claims he and Topgokay agreed on a $850,000 buyout price for the game. Then, Topgokay notified Luckk that the money transfer had been completed, and in turn, Luckk transferred the game, the Discord server, and the Roblox group ownership. However, Luckk then went public with the story that the transfer wasn't really completed and that he and the developers of Anime Realms had been scammed out of the game's ownership.

On the other hand, Topgokay posted his version of the events on the official Discord server (check image below). The first announcement was about the ownership change, after which the above-mentioned X post by Luckk went out. And then, in the second post, Topgokay dove deeper into the whole Anime Realms ownership scam business.

His version of the story lists a much lower buyout price for the game, and various unconfirmed accusations on how Luckk has a history of doing similar stunts. He also claims that the old developers are now threatening to DMCA the game because they seem to be the ones that were scammed the most in this whole thing.

Now, all of the above-mentioned things might not even be remotely close to what actually transpired during the recent Anime Realms ownership change. What's certain, though, is that the game will continue to run and be updated. Well, that's at least until it gets a DMCA copyright strike by the old developers.

Anyway, if you are an Anime Realms fan, I definitely don't want to be in your skin right now. If you want to try some other TD game (a drama-free one at that), check out Anime Reborn, and as always, stay tuned to PGG for more fun Roblox content!
