+ During the first round, Asota (Devil) will attack twice. Per kill, he’ll gain +25% Damage and heal all allies by +20% of their Max Health (permanent).

Ant King+ Brawler-type unit that is excellent against Bosses and in Raids.
+ Every turn, there’s a 50% chance that Ant King can Poison an enemy to deal 90% Damage.
+ At the start of a round, mark all enemies. Deals +20% Damage to all marked enemies.
+ The Marked passive makes him an excellent support unit for Shadow Knight.

Dark Swordsman (Ascended)+ The best DPS unit for Nature Tower right now.
+ Excellent across other game modes too.
+ Applies Bleed to enemies to deal 80% of his Damage as DoT. If the enemies are burning, Bleed will do double damage.

+ Very good in teams with multiple Fire Element units. Buff the Damage output of all Fire Element units by +50%.
+ Has one of the most devastating AoE attacks in the game that triggers when his HP falls below 50%. The attack will deal 400% damage to all enemies.

Shadow Knight+ An excellent DPS unit for early to mid-game progression.
+ Applies Bleed to enemies. Bleeding enemies receive 80% more DMG per turn (stacks with multiple attacks).
+ Marks all enemies at the start of the round. When a marked enemy dies, Shadow Knight attacks again.
+ Becomes OP if Ant King and Dark Assassin are on the team as well.

Flame Lion+ Leader unit who buffs the damage of all Brawler-type units in the team by 10%.
+ Excellent across all game modes, including Nature Tower, Tower, and Secret Bosses.

+ Every attack triggers a second flame hit that inflicts burn and does 10% damage.
- Performance falls off without the Flame and Brawler synergies.

- Must get SSS stats to really get the best out of this unit.
- Both passives are RNG-reliant.

Ultimate Warrior+ Excellent unit for early-game Story, Slime Event, and Raids.
+ Deals 2x more damage when attacking with elemental advantage. One of the strongest Nature units in the game.
+ Helps a lot with progression early. Fairly high chance to roll from the banner.

Aura Farmer+ A very good DPS unit for early to mid-game Story.
+ Every attack, Aura Farmer has a 20% chance to avoid incoming damage completely.
+ Deals +50% damage to enemies that have HP above 35%.

+ Every third attack deals 250% more damage.
- Better main and sub-DPS options are available.

Super Roku+ Deals 70% more damage to enemies with HP above 50%.
+ Can help chip off the HP of stronger enemies and bosses.
- Plenty of other options with higher DPS and better survivability are available.

Agony+ Reflects 25% of the incoming damage to nearby enemies.
+ Can be used as a sub-DPS or as a Tank. 
- Struggles in both roles against stronger enemies.

Youji+ Every time Youji attacks, there’s a chance to land a Crit Black Flash.
+ Every time Youji lands a Crit Black Flash, there’s a chance to start a Black Flash Chain.
+ Massive DPS potential, especially if the Black Flash Chain starts.
- Doesn’t offer much else. DPS output is weak if Black Flash doesn’t kick in.

Sosuke+ Good against bosses because his damage doubles if he attacks the same enemy on consecutive turns.
- Base DPS is weak, and the passive rarely kicks in during content other than Story.

+ When defeated, survives with 1 HP and gains immunity for 1 turn.

Titan+ Another decent Tank to use until you can get Black Bull or Raven. 
+ Reduces all incoming damage by 60%.

What Are The Best Support Units in Anime Story 2

Units like Kaizen (Ascended), Ant King, and Slime (Demon) are primarily DPS units and should be used as such. But, if needed, you can also use them as Support units because they are considered meta Support Units as well. 

That said, if you’re playing them to their strengths and are looking to pair them up with good Support units, use the ones listed below:

+ Excellent across all game modes. Absolutely OP in Tower.

+ Gets a +100% DMG boost when the boss or the strongest enemy HP falls below 50%. This makes Yono (Star) very good in the Slime Event.
