Defenders and Strikers can celebrate, as the game has two new styles you can pull for and master. Along with the new content, you'll also see some changes to older styles as well as some new gameplay adjustments. Here's everything new in the Azure Latch Beast update.
Azure Latch Beast Update - Everything New
With the Beast Update, you'll see some great additions to the game along with new styles, like quests, revamps, a private server + gamepass, and more. Here's everything new in the Azure Latch Beast Update
Barou Style Showcase
Barou is one of the two new Mythic styles added in the Beast Update. You can get it at the shop at a 1.8% chance, just like the rest of the Mythic styles. This is a Striker focused style, which comes as no surprise considering who its inspired by.
Moveset | Description |
---|---|
Chop Dribble (Ball required) | - brief dash in one direction, then a longer dash in the opposite direction, useful for evading enemy players as you make it towards the goal. - 25 second cooldown |
Long Shot (Ball required) | - long distance, powerful shot towards the goal. You can shoot it forward or up in the air. - 15 second cooldown |
King's Path | - dash three times in a zig zag pattern. You can use it both with and without the ball, so it can be very useful in combination with the Chop Dribble - if you move your camera, you can actually dash in a straight line to cross an even bigger distance, though this will take some practice |
Devour (Ball required) | - after awakening, shoot towards the goal. If you pick up two opponent players in the penalty area, you will get a guaranteed goal. Keep in mind that this move ends your flow. - 35 second cooldown |
Predator Eye (Teammate has the ball) | - A steal move that allows you to take the ball from either enemy or teammate when they are trying to shoot the ball - 60 second cooldown |
Aiku Style Showcase
While Barou is for the Strikers, Aiku is the style you should go for if defense is more in line with your gameplay. It's another Mythic style, so there's a 1.8% chance to get it. If a teammate has Don Lorenzo, these two styles can work well together, preventing the opponents' attacks. Aiku does have a striker moveset as well, so you can switch it up at times (especially if you think your team's strikers aren't pulling their weight).
Moveset | Description |
---|---|
Serpant's Sway (Ball required) | - a backdash that turns into a longer forward dash in a direction. Useful to avoid other players as well as any steal attempts. - 12 second cooldown |
Reflex Tackle | - steal the ball away from an opponent once you reach them. You will also tackle your opponent to the ground, giving you precious seconds as they recuperate. - 15 second cooldown |
Venom Trap | - a trap move that let's you steal the ball in the air. When near, dash towards the ball and stop it in it's place. - 50 second cooldown |
Ultimate Defense | - if the ball is flying towards you or above you, you can intercept it with this move. The ball has to be near you or you have to be on your team's side of the field for Ultimate Defense to work. - 60 second cooldown |
Former Striker | - while mostly a defensive style, this move allows you to actually try for a goal if you find yourself in the perfect position. It isn't a guaranteed shot, so use it carefully. |
All Beast Update Revamps
On top of the two new styles added, the Azure Latch update has introduced some revamps to the older styles in the game.
