Last verified: April 29, 2026 (Update 31). All tier placements reflect the latest balance changes, including the Dark fruit rework, Control rework, and Tiger (formerly Leopard) rework. This tier list covers all 41 fruits currently available from the Blox Fruit Dealer.
Every player has asked themselves this question: "Which Blox Fruits fruit should I actually use?" With the game now on Update 31 and major reworks to Control, Dark, Tiger (formerly Leopard), and Lightning (formerly Rumble) shaking up the meta, the landscape looks very different from even a few months ago. After spending countless hours testing these fruits, I was finally able to create the ultimate Blox Fruits tier list as of April 2026.
Blox Fruits Tier List - Best Fruits in Blox Fruits
Before diving into rankings, here's what separates the game-changers from the mid options:
- Power - Can it actually destroy enemies?
- Grinding Efficiency - How fast can you farm XP?
- PvP Viability - Will you get bodied in player combat, or can you hold your own?
- Movement Options - Some powers limit your movement, making them less efficient.
- Learning Curve - Some fruits are powerful but require serious skill to use.

S Tier - The Fruits That Actually Matter
Regardless of price, these are the fruits you will want to target. Human: Buddha is still the best fruit for grinding, especially for Sword or Melee mains since they will get extra range on their attacks. Kitsune is arguably the best overall fruit in Blox Fruits thanks to its insane mobility and M1 passive. Tiger (formerly Leopard) received a massive rework and is now one of the top PvP threats with its Hunt mechanic. Control went from joke-tier to a legitimate powerhouse after its Update 29 rework. Dark also received a full moveset overhaul in April 2026 and is now S-tier for PvP. Gas is the newest S-tier addition — its Logia immunity and persistent DoT zones make it incredibly difficult to play against.
| Fruit | Description | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Kitsune (Beast) | +Kitsune's mobility alone makes it worth the price - you're essentially untouchable when played correctly. +The fire damage output is insane, and unlike some other expensive fruits, it's actually useful for both grinding and PvP. +Fox transformation lets you walk on water and move even faster. | $8,000,000 |
| Tiger (Beast) formerly Leopard | +The Hunt mechanic resets your cooldowns on hit, enabling infinite combo chains with the right fighting style. +Exceptional mobility from Body Flicker and Spiraling Kick — chase-and-escape ability is unmatched. -High skill ceiling — you need to master Hunt timing to get the full value. | $5,000,000 |
| Dragon (Beast) | +Dragon's area damage is perfect for wiping out entire groups of enemies. +East and West transformation forms offer different playstyles — both are excellent. +Arguably the best overall fruit in the game for versatility across PvP, PvE, and raids. | $15,000,000 |
| Dough (Elemental) | +Once you learn how to chain the abilities properly, opponents just can't escape. Awakened Dough is the king of combo-lock PvP. -Takes some practice to master. | $2,800,000 |
| Control (Natural) | +Completely reworked in Update 29 — went from worst Mythical to a top-tier pick. +Gravity Pull into Object Barrage combos are devastating. +One of the best-looking fruits in the game (great aura). -Complex kit — requires practice to fully utilize. | $9,000,000 |
| Gas (Elemental) | +Logia immunity means regular attacks pass right through you. +Persistent DoT zones make you a nightmare to fight against in PvP. +Excellent grinding and boss damage too. -Less effective against other Logia users. | $75,000,000 |
| Dark (Elemental) | +Full moveset overhaul in April 2026 — now a legitimate S-tier PvP contender. +New Dark Scythe melee ability with wide AoE and Darkness debuff stacking. +Homing projectiles and crit-scaling passive reward skilled play. -High skill ceiling — you need to manage debuff stacks under pressure. | $500,000 |
| Shadow (Natural) | +The shadow abilities give you serious potential in PvP, while it's also great for grinding. +The teleportation can save your life more often than you'd think. | $2,900,000 |
| Human: Buddha (Beast) | +Buddha's attacks cover a ridiculous range, which means enemies won't know what hit them. Still the undisputed #1 grinding fruit. +Damage reduction makes leveling almost effortless. -Larger hitbox is a liability in PvP — enemies can hit you more easily. | $1,200,000 |
| Soul (Natural) | +Extremely effective against multiple enemies. +Unpredictable combos that are hard to counter. | $3,400,000 |
| Venom (Natural) | +Venom's damage over time is very efficient, even while enemies are healing. +Strong DoT stacking makes it excellent against bosses. -Rework is confirmed but hasn't landed yet — could get even stronger soon. | $3,000,000 |

B Tier Blox Fruits
You should consider these fruits as solid early-to-mid game options that can help grind while you work towards that superpowered fruit you want. Light is particularly good for First Sea grinding since it has Elemental Reflex and excellent flight speed. Spider is still popular for the fun Spider-Man-style swinging. Several reworked fruits like Creation (formerly Barrier) and Pain (formerly Paw) live here — they're useful but not meta-defining.
| Fruit | Type | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Light (Elemental) | +Best First Sea grinding fruit — excellent flight speed and M1 damage. +Elemental Reflex protects against low-level enemies. -Falls off in later seas compared to S and A-tier options. | $650,000 |
| Spider (Natural) | +The mobility is fun - swinging around like Spider-Man never gets old. +The damage is okay, but requires skill. -Hard to master. | $1,500,000 |
| String (Natural) | +Decent mob control and combo extending. -Outclassed by higher-tier options for PvP. -Needs a specific playstyle to get value. | $1,500,000 |
| Diamond (Natural) | +Can be dominant in PvP if you learn how to use it properly. +Easy to get. -Close-range moves. -Some moves are easy to evade. | $600,000 |
| Quake (Natural) | +Good burst damage and easy to target enemies. -Lacks range and mobility. -Confirmed for a future rework — could move up significantly. | $1,000,000 |
| Rubber (Natural) | +Knockback effect and superior dash. -Close range only. -Easily countered in PvP. | $750,000 |
| Sand (Elemental) | +Easy to get, and almost all moves break Instinct. -Ground-based attacks, and some moves don't work at sea. | $420,000 |
| Blizzard (Elemental) | +Solid freeze combos and consistent damage output. -Outperformed by Ice for stun utility and by higher tiers for damage. | $2,400,000 |
| Creation (Natural) replaced Barrier | +Stronger barriers and improved visuals over the old Barrier fruit. -Still mostly defensive — limited offensive power. | $800,000 |
| T-Rex (Beast) | +Impressive physical damage and durability. -Limited mobility in transformation. | $2,500,000 |

C Tier Devil Fruits
All of these fruits are serviceable, but if you get these, you will probably want to switch out as soon as you can afford something better. Flame remains a decent early-game option since it has powerful ranged abilities that can clean up bosses and bandit groups. Eagle (formerly Falcon) is a slight improvement over the old fruit but still limited. Keep in mind that some of these lack flight abilities, so if you don't want to spend money on ships, you would need to switch out.
| Fruit | Price |
|---|---|
| Flame (Elemental) | $250,000 |
| Chop (Natural) | $30,000 |
| Love (Natural) | $700,000 |
| Revive (Natural) | $550,000 |
| Smoke (Elemental) | $100,000 |
| Ghost (Natural) | $940,000 |
| Eagle (Beast) formerly Falcon | $300,000 |
D Tier
It's really hard to find a reason to stick with these fruits. Some of them have fun playstyles, like Spring, which has your character bouncing all over the map. At low rarity, though, these fruits all come with a very limited set of abilities. They're easy to master, but not worth keeping around. Replace them as soon as you roll anything in B tier or higher.
| Fruit | Price |
|---|---|
| Spike (Natural) | $7,500 |
| Spring (Natural) | $60,000 |
| Rocket (Natural) formerly Kilo | $5,000 |
| Spin (Natural) | $180,000 |
| Bomb (Natural) | $80,000 |
Best Devil Fruits FAQ
For beginners, start with Light ($650,000) for fast First Sea grinding, or Flame ($250,000) for cheap ranged damage. Once you reach Second Sea, upgrade to Human: Buddha for grinding or save up for a Mythical fruit.
As of April 2026, Kitsune and Dragon are considered the best overall fruits in Blox Fruits. Kitsune offers unmatched mobility and AoE damage, while Dragon excels across PvP, grinding, and raids with its dual transformation forms.
Human: Buddha is still the best fruit for grinding in Blox Fruits as of Update 31. The massive hitbox increase and damage reduction make farming effortless, especially when paired with a strong melee fighting style or sword.
Tiger (formerly Leopard) and Dough (Awakened) are the top PvP fruits right now. Tiger's Hunt mechanic enables infinite combos, while Dough's stun-lock chains are devastating. Dark is also S-tier for PvP after its April 2026 rework, and Gas is extremely hard to play against thanks to its Logia immunity and DoT zones.
Ice ($350,000) punches way above its price range with excellent stun moves and water walking. Light ($650,000) is the best First Sea grinding fruit. For PvP, Dark ($500,000) is now S-tier after its rework — easily the best value fruit in the game right now.
You should use Robux to buy fruits only if you want to skip the grind. Most fruits can be obtained through normal gameplay if you're patient. Permanent fruits purchased with Robux stay in your inventory forever, which makes them more valuable for trading.
Several fruits have been renamed or replaced through updates: Leopard became Tiger (Update 27), Rumble became Lightning (Update 27), Barrier was replaced by Creation (Update 26), Falcon became Eagle (Update 26), Door became Portal (Update 27), and Kilo was replaced by Rocket (Update 26).
