Wind Cloak is a special ability you can purchase for 2,000 coins in the Skills/Skins menu. You can earn coins in a few different ways in Blade Ball: by winning games, getting kills, completing quests, or from the Playtime Rewards and the Prize Wheel. Once you unlock it, you can equip it as your current ability to use during matches.

What does the Wind Cloak ability do in Blade Ball?

Wind Cloak is mostly used as a defensive ability, allowing you to gain speed and jump higher. You'll be able to move around the arena with ease and dodge to keep the ball from coming your way. Alternatively, you can use it as an offensive move to trick unexpecting players by jumping in their path and hitting them with the ball before they have a chance to react. When the round starts, press Q to activate your Wind Cloak aura; you'll instantly notice the speed boost while running and jumping. It will also last for a long time, usually the whole round, depending on how long it takes to get to the Standoff.

How to upgrade Wind Cloak in Blade Ball

You can upgrade Wind Cloak to be even stronger through the Skills/Skins menu as well. Each consecutive upgrade will cost you more coins but will boost the ability's power even further. The speed and jump height overall will be boosted 2x to 3x with each upgrade. Here are all the upgrade costs:

  • Upgrade 1: 1,000 coins
  • Upgrade 2: 2,000 coins

Use Wind Cloak to your advantage to stay out of dangerous situations or time your blocks more effectively. Don't forget to save up some coins so you can continue to upgrade it and unleash its potential even more.
