Build a Ring Farm Mutations - Multipliers & How to Get
There are currently 20 mutations in Build a Ring Farm that your plants can get. Each one adds a unique visual effect to your crop and applies an income multiplier to boost your harvest value. The table below lists every mutation, the money multiplier it applies, and all the ways you can get it on your plants. Mutations from weather events apply randomly to fully grown crops on your farm during the event window — you must be online and in the game for the chance to trigger.

How to Get Mutations from Pets in Build a Ring Farm
While most Mutations in Build a Ring come from either events or Sprays, some Pets can also affect the Plant mutation. For starters, T-Rex, Hive Golem, and Kitsune don't give a new plant mutation, but they do have a chance to upgrade one. However, here are the pets that will give you some excellent mutations on your plants, but you'll have to purchase them through Robux:
- Starfall Griffin - 5.5% chance to apply a Starfall mutation to a plant every 10 minutes.
- Bald Eagle - 2.5% chance to apply a Liberty mutation to a plant every 600 seconds.
Mutation Swap Easy Guide in Build a Ring Farm
First, if you want to swap your current Mutation with a different one on a plant, you will need to buy the Acid Spray from the Gear Shop ($1M). Once you have it, equip the Spray and click on the Plant you want to remove the Mutation from. When that's done, use a Mutation Spray of your choice on the plant, and that's it! You've swapped the mutation from a plant!
Build a Ring Farm FAQs
Right now, Eclipse is the best standard mutation in Build a Ring Farm. It applies a 12x income multiplier and is spray-only, it cannot be obtained through weather events. Cosmic Spray can be purchased from the Gear Shop for $50Qn Cash (limited stock). Arcane (610x) is the best event-based mutation but has only a small chance of spawning during the Wizard Event.
No, mutations will not apply to your plants if you're offline. You must be in the game during the events to activate the chance of mutations applying to your plants.
In most cases, no, a plant can only hold one mutation at a time. If a plant catches any mutation during an event, it won't catch another one unless you remove the current mutation first. However, there is one exception: the Starfall mutation, applied by the Starfall Griffin pet, is the only mutation in the game that stacks with other mutations. So a crop can have one standard mutation (such as Cosmic or Rainbow) and also carry the Starfall mutation on top of it, combining both multipliers.
You can remove mutations from your plants in Build a Ring Farm using the Acid Spray that you can buy from the Gear Shop for $1M. Acid Spray can also drop as a reward from the Trucker Event.
