How to Get Grimoires in Clover Origins

The first thing you want to do in Clover Origins is to get a Grimoire to unlock skills that will deal a lot more damage than the base Combat you start the game with. However, before you can get a Grimoire, you’ll need to complete the tutorial and then repeat the first quest (Bandit Quest) until you hit Level 50.

This will help you earn some Grimoire spins that you can use at the Wizard NPC to get a Grimoire. From the spawn area, follow the path between the Broom Gacha and the Blacksmith to find the Grimoire Tower. Go inside, and you’ll find the Wizard NPC. Talk to him to use the Grimoire Gacha and obtain a Grimoire.

There are plenty of decent options that you can use early on. Check out our Clover Origins Grimoires Tier List to learn about the strengths and weaknesses of each Grimoire in the game.

How to Unlock Grimoire Skills in Clover Origins

When you obtain any Grimoire, you’ll only have access to one skill. Almost every Grimoire has 5+ skills that you’ll need to unlock by investing stat points in the Magic stat. Invest 1,000 stat points in Magic to unlock all the moves of every Grimoire in the game.

There are two Girmoires, Anti-Magic and Reinforcement, that instead scale with the Blade and Melee stat, respectively. Depending on the Grimoire you’re using, make sure you invest points in the right stat to unlock the respective skills.

How to Get a Broom in Clover Origins

Once you reach Level 100+, the next thing you need to do is get a broom to unlock fast travel in Clover Origins. You can get brooms from the Broom Gacha NPC near the spawn point in Hage Village. However, before you can use that gacha, you need to first complete the Broom Quest.

In the spawn area, you’ll see some stairs to the right of the Broom Gacha. Go up those stairs, and you’ll see a Broom Quest NPC. Talk to the NPC to start a quest that will help you learn broom flying, earn you the first broom for free, and give you access to the Broom Gacha.

For the quest, you simply need to complete a fly-through challenge. It’s pretty straightforward, and you shouldn’t have any problem completing it.

Completing the quest will also give you a few Broom Spins that you can use at the Broom Gacha to roll for a quicker broom.

How to Progress in Clover Origins

Clover Origins Missions

Progression in Clover Origins is locked behind Quests and Missions. Clear NPC quests to earn Yen, EXP, and Stat Points. Invest stat points to grow stronger and use Yens to purchase weapons and accessories to further strengthen your build so you can take on tougher quests and stronger enemies.

Similarly, there are Daily and Weekly Missions that you can complete to level up, earn Grimoire and Broom Spins, and farm tons of EXP. To play Missions, click on Menu and then click on Missions. Missions are fairly easy to complete and should be a primary focus early on.

Below is a suggested progression path that you can follow:

  • Repeat Bandit quest until you reach Level 50.
  • Obtain a Grimoire and shift to the Bandit Boss quest. Repeat until you hit level 250. Keep investing your stat points into Magic to unlock more skills and do more damage. Also, get a broom once you hit Level 100.
  • Once you reach Level 250 to 300, shift to the Boar Boss quest. Keep farming until you hit Level 750. By now, you should have enough Yen to buy some Clover Origins Accessories. Use them to cover up any weaknesses of your build and switch to the Orc King quest near the Coliseum.
  • After reaching Level 1000, do the following quests: Corrupt Dark Wizard > Water Wizard > Corrupted Nobelman.
  • Keep grinding the quests or switch to Dungeons until you reach Level 4,000. You can also start hunting World Bosses like Yuno, Litch, and the Werewolf to gather rare drops and earn tons of Yen and EXP.

After crossing Level 4000, you can travel to the Clover Kingdom (World 2) to continue more quests and explore a different location.
