Complete Drain the Lake Atlantis Guide

Can you recover the Lost Trident?!

The Atlantis Biome has been added to Drain the Lake, and players can find it on any of the checkpoints that appear after Checkpoint 5. There’s a door that you can open to enter a hidden chamber in the Atlantis Biome. To open the door, you need to fill a giant bowl with water using the Jewel Bucket. Inside the chamber, you can get the Legendary Trident Bucket.

If you’re struggling to find Atlantis or have found it but don’t know what to do there, this complete Drain the Lake Atlantis biome guide is for you. In this guide, we’ll tell you how to find Atlantis in Drain the Lake, how to open the door, where the bowl is, and which one is the ‘Worthy Bucket.’ So, let’s dive right in.

Where is Atlantis in Drain the Lake

The Atlantis biome does not have a set location in Drain the Lake, but it will only appear past Checkpoint 5. With the Atlantis Update, the developers have implemented a unique system that shifts the biomes/checkpoints every time. This means no two runs will have the same biome/checkpoint sequence.

This means if you want to explore Atlantis, you might find it on Checkpoint 5, or you might have to go a lot deeper. There’s also a chance that Atlantis does not appear at all during your run (which is slightly disappointing).

How to Open the Atlantis Door in Drain the Lake

The main attraction of the Atlantis biome is a giant door that you can open to enter a hidden chamber. To open that door, you need to drain more water inside to uncover more areas of the Atlantis biome. Once you drain enough water, you’ll see a giant Jeweled Bowl. You then need to fill that bowl with water using the Jewel Bucket.

Once you do that, the door will be unlocked. Go back towards it and interact with it to open the door and enter the hidden chamber.

What is Behind the Atlantis Door in Drain the Lake

Once you unlock the door on Atlantis, you can enter a hidden chamber to find a Legendary bucket. It is called the Trident Bucket, and you can take it for free. You can also explore the hidden chamber a little, but you won’t find anything else in there.

The specialized treasure chests that you see in the hidden chamber and across the Atlantis biome are purely cosmetic and can’t be opened.
