Players can get the Castbound Rod Mastery by finishing Anger, Like A Boss & The Journey Ends? quests one by one. If you finish all three quests, you will get the Copperbound Skin & get +200 Durability, 3 More Chances, +50% Slash Rate, Perfect Casts = +25% Fury Base Chance, & +5 Starting Progress as passive.
Apart from using any Enchant Buffs, the best way to make your Castbound Rod more effective than before is to complete its mastery quest. Since these quests are slightly challenging, it can be confusing for new players. So, here is a detailed Castbound Rod Mastery Guide for your reference.
How to get the Castbound Rod Mastery in Fisch
To get the Castbound Rod Mastery in Fisch, players must finish the following set of Quests.

Anger
To finish the Anger Questline, players must catch x50 Fish with the Fury Mutation. So, equip the Castbound Rod and start fishing until you catch 50 of these fish. Remember, this will take time, as the Castbound Rod only has a 25% chance to apply the Fury Mutation each time you fish with the Rod. If you manage to complete this, you will get the Prisma Lantern as a reward.
Like A Boss
The next quest revolves around you perfectly catching x3 Rotbloom using the Castbound Rod. You can catch the Rotbloom inside the Toxic Grove during the Rotbloom Hunt. Check the Global Event channel to see if a Rotbloom Hunt is active, or wait for such an announcement. If so, travel to the location and catch the fish using the following preferences.
- Bait: Luminous Larva, Thorn Cluster
- Season: Autumn
- Weather: None
- Time: None
Remember, the progression will only be counted if you have made a Perfect Catch. After getting three such Rotblooms, you will receive the Germidium Bobber.
The Journey's End?
The final quest is very challenging for some players, while it would have already been completed for high-level grinders, as all you have to do is own the following set of Rods in the game.
- Igneous Rupturer
- Tidemourner
- Verdant Oath
- Wind Elemental
- Zeus's Thundermaul
I recommend following our dedicated guide to obtain all the rods if you do not own them in the game. After finishing this task, you will receive +200 Durability, 3 More Chances, +50% Slash Rate, Perfect Casts = +25% Fury Base Chance, & +5 Starting Progress for your Castbound Rod. Also, players will get the Copperbound skin for their Castbound Rod.
