If you are tired of catching fish using rods, you can purchase the Golden cages for 25,000C$ at the entrance of Crowned Ruins and deploy them all around the pool. I personally caught the Tompot Blenny using the Golden cage.

Similar to the Pliosaur, the Goldwraith only spawns during the Goldwraith Hunt, which is random and a server-wide event. You can use a Sunstone Totem during Aurora Borealis to increase your chance. Also, since this is a server-wide event, everyone can try to catch the fish during the hunt. So, play either on a low player count server or a private one.
