Players can complete Nate's Rod Quest by accessing Nate's Computer, finding individual rod parts, reconstructing the rod & giving back its old powers. Each phase requires you to find or fish for specific items in locations like The Depths, Desolate Deep, Snowcap, Moosewood & more.
Rescue Nate is a challenging quest in Fisch that involves collecting clues in Nate's Cave and piecing them together with help from his beloved kitty cat, Miso, to find the NPC. The first few clues are easy to put together, but the rest can be confusing. So, if you're confused about how to rescue the poor guy, here is a detailed guide.
How to start the Rescue Nate Quest in Fisch
To start the Rescue Nate Quest, go directly to Sunstone Island and enter Nate's Cave at GPS (-914.0, 207.4, -1027.8). This is just behind the Merlin Witch NPC on a small cliff.

After entering the cave, you can meet the Miso cat at the desk, who will explain the situation in cat language and take you to a computer where you must enter the PIN. To do this, you locate four signs around the room in the correct order. Each player has a different icon, and you need to find your combination code by identifying the correct ones.
Pin 1

For the first PIN, look on top of the stool next to the bedroom, to the left of the computer. Note the down icon, which was music for me.
Pin 2

For the next one, go down and check the bookshelf behind the sofa. Here, you will find an icon with the number 2 on it.
Pin 3

The third pin icon is in the car's front seat. You can find the car right at the entrance to Nate's Cave.
Pin 4
The final and fourth icon is on the computer table itself. Check the left side of the table for the fourth pin icon.
How to restore Nate's Blade in Fisch
The next part of the quest requires you to get the Broken Blade & Crimson Centerpiece.
Broken Blade

To get the Broken Blade, travel to the Depths Maze. Locate a Strange Whirlpool that appears randomly on the map, then jump in to reach Vertigo.

Fish out the Depth Key, then open the Cave to enter the Depths. Here, keep a Hexed Enchanted Relic & Abyssal Enchant Relic at the Depths Maze opening at GPS (1163.4, -730.1, 1325.4). Enter the underground opening and swim to the end of the maze to the Broken Blade next to the statue holding the Rod of Depths (GPS: 1705, -900, 1445).

Crimson Centerpiece
Unlike the Broken Blade, you can fish the Crimson Centerpiece in Crimson Cavern. Travel to Desolate Deep using your Traveler's Whistle, then enter the Crimson Cavern after finishing the Crimson Guard's Quest. Here, equip something like the Scavenger Rod and try to get the Crimson Centerpiece as a secondary drop (rare item) with a 1 in 8 chance. This will take time, so keep catching fish until you receive it.
After you get both items, return to Nate's Cave and place the Broken Blade & Crimson Centerpiece on the table in front of the Sofa to restore Nate's Blade.

If you find one, feed it to the Miso pet behind the Computer. You can immediately add the Pet as your Companion in the game, which provides the following passive perks.
