Complete Ink Game Jump Rope Game Mode Guide

It's time to Jump Rope in Ink Game!

After the addition of the Hide & Seek Game Mode, the Ink Game developers have also added another new mode based on Season 3 of Squid Games called the Jump Rope. Indicative of its name, the gameplay revolves around you crossing a very narrow bridge while jumping in a timely manner over a rope. While it may sound easy at first, it is incredibly challenging to stay on the Jump Rope for a while without understanding the mechanics. So, for all those confused players out there, here is a dedicated guide on how to play the game mode and easily reach the other end.

When does the Jump Rope Game Mode appear in Ink Game?

The Jump Rope appears right after the fourth or fifth itinerary in the game. During my gameplay session, it was the fourth game mode, immediately following the Hide & Seek Game Mode (chosen through voting; otherwise, you would have the Tug of War). As soon as you enter this mode, you will find two Young-Hee dolls on both sides of the bridge with a rope spinning in their hand.

How to win in Jump Rope in Ink Game

As mentioned earlier, the objective is to reach the other end of the map without falling while jumping on the rope. Once the round begins, go to the bridge and start moving forward using the directional keys. When you see the rope swinging in your direction, press the jump button to hop over it. This requires precision and timing, as if you miss the rope, it will just hit you and push you off the bridge, leading to your death. The best way to predict if the rope is near you is to place your camera straight and look for the hand position of the doll in front of you. Additionally, a loud "swoosh" audio cue will indicate the rope's position, alerting you when it's time to jump. Use all of these to time your jump at the right moment.

If you do it correctly, you will perform a neat jump, only to land a little further on the bridge unsteadily. To steady yourself, press either A or D on your keyboard to counter the tilt. For instance, if you are falling towards the left side, press D, and if you are going towards the right side, spam A to make your character stand again. All of these things happen very quickly; you have to be focused and press the correct button at the right time to stay alive. If you manage to steady yourself, you can start walking forward again.

That's it! From here, it's all about jumping the rope and balancing yourself until you reach the other end. It will take anywhere from 2 to 4 minutes to get to the other end and complete the game mode, after which you can proceed to different levels.
