The Vaulted Event is the latest event added with the update in Plants Vs Brainrots. It added a brand-new progression system, a unique puzzle mechanic, and one of the most interesting event finales so far. With new limited-time brainrots and plants, along with tons of rewards, there's a lot you can do in this event. So, to help you make the most out of it, this complete event guide explains how the Vaulted event works, how to finish it easily, and what rewards you can get before it ends.
How to Start Vaulted Event in Plants Vs Brainrots

The Vaulted Event begins automatically once the update goes live on January 17, 2026. You do not need to complete the Sprout Studies event to participate. After logging in, head to Central Island, where you will notice a large sealed Vault placed behind the area previously used for the Sprout Studies purple lab.
To begin progressing, you need to defeat Keylina, a limited-rarity Brainrot that spawns on the main conveyor belt. Every time you defeat Keylina, you receive a Clue Tile in your garden. These tiles are the core mechanic of the Vaulted Event and are required to unlock the Vault.
Vaulted Event Guide in Plants Vs Brainrots

The Vaulted Event revolves around discovering 24 clues to unlock the Vault. Each Clue Tile appears in your garden marked with a “?” symbol. To reveal a clue, you simply place any plant on top of the tile. Once revealed, your overall Vault progress increases, and you immediately receive a reward.
A very efficient strategy is to keep one plant in your inventory at all times. Instead of planting a new seed, place that plant onto the Clue Tile, reveal the clue, then pick it back up using a shovel. This allows you to complete clues instantly without consuming extra seeds.
After discovering all 24 clues, the Vault opens. Inside is a short Obby challenge, and completing it rewards the final, 25th event reward, which includes limited-time exclusive items. For faster progress, you can also activate cards that increase Limited Rarity Brainrot spawn rates, making Keylina appear more frequently.
