Creatures of Sonaria partners with Wind Sun Sky Entertainment to create series adaption – Roblox

Creatures of Sonaria has big plans.

Twin Atlas, parent studio of Sonar Studios, announced a partnership with Wind Sun Sky Entertainment (WSSE) on February 14, 2021, via Twitter to create a series adaptation of its popular Roblox RPG, Creatures of Sonaria. WSSE's CEO, Catherine Winder, comes from a background of recognition and success, with previous projects including The Angry Birds Movie, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Escape from Planet Earth, Ice Age, and many more. At the time of this article's publication, no official release date for the collaborative series has been released.

While Winder and WSSE spearhead the creative portion of the development process, Productivity Media is set to provide the series' funding. In an interview with Deadline, Productivity Media's founder, William Santor, and Winder were both quoted with the following statement: "As the partnership of PMI and WSS expands, we will continue to look for rich universes with cross platform, immersive potential, like Creatures of Sonaria, to partner up with and extend into the kind of gamified story worlds that global audiences and fans are looking for in the metaverse."

When asked about his feelings toward the project, Twin Atlas's CEO Samuel Garcia stated "I am very excited to work with Catherine, Jay, and the innovative team of storytellers at WSS to add narrative depth to our characters and in turn further engage and delight our fans in a whole new way."

Since its debut in 2020, Creatures of Sonaria has received nearly one million favorites, 350,000 likes, and 400 million visits, making a name for itself as a fan-favorite experience for those who enjoy the role-playing genre. When the adaption of this experience is completed, it will likely release on Netflix or Amazon Prime Video, as Winder has previous relationships with both platforms, most recently, Amazon Prime Video with her adaption of the popular comic book series, Invincible.

As more information is released regarding this project, we will let our readers know accordingly.
