While Roblox typically collaborates with large companies and musicians for its sponsored events, the spotlight this time shines on a rather small, up-and-coming artist—Dolo Tonight. With only seven thousand subscribers on YouTube, 39,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, and 400 followers on Twitter, Dolo Tonight is the smallest creator that's collab-ed with Roblox so far.

Because of this, many fans are wondering why he's been chosen. Regardless, however, this choice is likely to be viewed as a positive one, as it could indicate the start of Roblox being willing to promote, and give a platform to, lesser-known artists such as Dolo Tonight.

What was originally teased through a, at the time, seemingly meaningless tweet posted by Dolo Tonight, has now been fully confirmed by the singer via another tweet posted on April 5, 2022. In this tweet, Dolo Tonight confirms the date of the concert to be Friday, April 8, 2022, and lists its starting time as 6:00pm CT. Details beyond these two statements, however, are limited—all that's known at the time of this article's publication is that Dolo Tonight will be performing his new song, "Car Ride," during this event and that avatar items are being made to celebrate.

If this event is similar to any of the previous concert events that Roblox has hosted, such as the most recent 24KGoldn concert that took place from March 25, 2022, to March 28, 2022, or the Tai Verdes concert in November of 2021, players can look forward to a weekend of live performances, quests, activities, and possibly some free avatar items, though this is not guaranteed.

In the meantime, players can connect with Dolo Tonight on Roblox and keep an eye on his Twitter account for the very latest announcements and news.
