Dress to Impress Lana on the catwalk

DTI introduces new Style Showdown mode similar to the RPDR competition

Sashay away, shantay you stay!

If it isn't enough to just watch the queens sashay away in the newest season of Ru Paul's Drag Race, you can now do it in DTI by playing the Style Showdown mode. Become the next Showdown queen or leave with an iconic quote (Miss Vanjie), whatever the case you'll definitely enjoy a change of pace in Dress to Impress.

To play the new mode, make sure you select Style Showdown on the Server List, and then enter the area to join a match. Every Style Showdown can have a minimum of six players and a maximum of ten players. Will I be forcing all of my friends inside the game to beat them with my fashion expertise? Absolutely.

So far, this is only the beta version of the mode. The developers have said that their goal is to improve and publish updates especially with player feedback. If you want to see anything added or changed, you can reach out to them on the DTI social media accounts.

While I do enjoy the regular themed (and non-themed) fashion competition that the game provides, I am definitely happy to see the stakes raised in DTI Style Showdown. As Lana struts down the runway in the same way the iconic Ru Paul does, the competition is off to a start.

There's regular rounds and quick rounds, all with specific themes and requirements, but both end in other players voting for the best outfits (first three, then two, and finally one). You sadly can't vote for yourself, though I did try.

Apart from the fashion aspect of the game, you'll also get to enjoy a fun mini game with the Pose Sync (clearly inspired by the lip sync from RPDR), where you pose for your life and to remain in the competition. My first ever Showdown and I became the Pose Sync assassin and I'm proud of that even though I didn't win the Grand Finale.

So far, Style Showdown is a mode that can keep me playing for hours, but I am definitely excited to see future updates. I'm hoping for some way to include Snatch Game.
