GHOUL RE Kagune Guide – How To Unlock, Evolve & Reroll

There are two factions that you can be a part of in GHOUL://RE. You can either spawn as a Ghoul or as a Human, completely based on RNG. If you're one of the people, lucky enough to be a Ghoul, then unlocking your Kagune should be your first priority. To help you with that, here's everything you need to know about Kagune and how to get it in GHOUL://RE.

How to unlock Kagune in GHOUL RE?

If you've spawned into GHOUL://RE as a Ghoul, then there's a completely different experience waiting for you in your playthrough. Generally, Ghouls look like Humans at first, but they need to kill other NPCs and Human characters to make progress. As you kill other Humans, you'll gain RC which eventually lets you unlock the Kagune. You need 5,000 RC to unlock your Kagune.

The Kagune in GHOUL://RE is a special predatory limb or organ that you unlock over time by killing other NPCs, Humans, or even Ghouls. When you're closer to unlocking your Kagune, you can hear your character's heartbeat getting faster in combat and the Kagune will appear when the HP drops below 50%.

How to evolve Kagune in GHOUL RE?

When you first unlock the Kagune, it will be an Unstable Kagune, which means it'll cost you Hunger to activate and will be generally weaker and without any special skills. In order to Stabilize your Kagune, you need to increase your RC till you reach the B+ rating. Once you're rated B+, your Kagune will stabilize.

Every Kagune has two stages of evolution. It can be quite tricky to evolve if you don't follow the right steps. Here's what you need to do:

1. You need to increase your RC to the required amount. This can vary depending on your Kagune type.
2. You need to consume a certain amount of fragments (Rinkaku Fragment, Bikaku Fragment, Bikaku Fragment, and Bikaku Fragment), depending upon your Kagune’s RC type.
3. Finally, you need to devour (CTRL+B) another Ghoul that has at least 1/3rd of the RC required for your evolution. If they do have that amount, your Kagune will evolve once you consume them.

How to increase RC quickly?

Since gaining RC is the most essential aspect of evolving and even awakening your Kagune, you should know all the ways through which you can do it. So, here are all the ways to increase RC in GHOUL://RE:

1. Kill NPCs & Players: The first, and easiest way of gaining RC in GHOUL://RE is by killing Human NPCs that roam around the map. The NPCs and other Human players are the best sources of RC.
2. Consume Kagune Sacs and Kagune Fragments: You can also eat Kagune Sacs and Fragments that can be acquired from killing and looting CCG members and Ghouls. They provide RC as well as contribute to your Kagune's evolution.
3. Complete Events and Quests: Finally, you can participate in events like the Permadeath event for increased RC rewards and complete Quests for direct RC increase upon completion.

How to reroll Kagune in GHOUL RE?

Now that you know how to awaken and evolve your Kagune, you should also know how to change it. Since progressing your Kagune is a long and tedious process, unlocking higher rarity and stronger Kagune can make your playthrough much easier. So here are all the ways through which you can reroll your Kagune in GHOUL://RE:

1. Using Robux: You can directly purchase a 'Kagune Type Reroll' item from the Developer Products for 299 Robux to change your character's Kagune. Buying the Wipe Character item for 100 more Robux will have the same effect, but also reset your character completely.
2. Using Ghoul Points: As you complete Quests and Events, you'll acquire Ghoul Points. You can use them at the 'Ghoul Point Exchange' shop to buy a 'Kagune Type Reroll' item for 20 Ghoul Points and reroll your character's Kagune.
3. From Events: If you're unable to use either of the above methods, then your final option would be to reset your character completely via the Perma-death event. Since your character will be reset, if you spawn as a Ghoul, you'll have a chance to unlock a new Kagune on awakening.
