Pets are an integral part of Grow a Garden 2, just as they are in the original Grow a Garden. However, the obtainment method for Pets in Grow a Garden 2 is slightly different and a bit more straightforward. Pets will spawn randomly on the map for a specified time, and you can purchase them using Sheckles before they despawn. So, we’ve put together this Grow a Garden 2 Pets tier list to help you choose the best pets for your garden.

What Do The Tier Rankings Mean in Our Grow a Garden 2 Pets Tier List

While deciding the rankings for our Grow a Garden 2 Pets tier list, we’ve considered their gardening utility (effects on growth speed, seed duplication, mutations) and their PvP potential (how helpful will the pet be during the nighttime stealing and base defending event). Since the PvP aspect is a major part of Grow a Garden 2, Pets with fighting/defending abilities lead the current meta.

Below is a breakdown of what each tier means, followed by our complete Grow a Garden 2 tier list.

If you’re a complete beginner in Grow a Garden, here are the three pets that you should get:

  • Bunny (A Tier): Cheap and easy to get because of high spawn rate. Increases your walk speed by 5 for every Bunny in your garden. The increases walk speed is very useful, especially if you want to steal plants/fruits from other players at nighttime.
  • Frog (B Tier): Another low-cost pet (10,000 Sheckles only) that will increase your jump height and allow you to easily harvest your Apples, Bananas, Corns, and other hard-to-reach fruits. It also increases your chances of escaping gardens successfully and catching up to intruders.
  • Deer or Bee (A Tier): If you want to focus on gardening and want your plants to grow quickly, get a Deer (or multiple Deers). However, if you want to enjoy the PvP aspect of stealing and defending your garden, go for the Bee, as it will help defend your base while you focus on stealing. You can also get both because they both cost 50,000 Sheckles each, so they’re not too expensive even for beginners.

That’s it for our Grow a Garden 2 Pets tier list. As the Pets roster grows, this tier list will get updated accordingly. So, make sure you bookmark this page to always have the important information at hand.
