What is the Christmas Harvest in Grow a Garden

The Christmas Harvest event is similar to the previous seasonal events, like the Summer Harvest Event and the Safari Harvest Event. For the Christmas Harvest Event, you have to submit Christmas Mutated Plants to the floating gift box until they hit 200 points.

Once you earn 200 points, you will receive a Player’s Gift. Give that to any other player in your server to receive your own present.

You could get a:

  • Bad Present.
  • Normal Present.
  • Rare Present.
  • Green Present.
  • Elf Present.
  • Christmas Present.
  • Santa’s Secret Present.

All these presents include items like Seeds, Gears, Cosmetic Items, Pets, Pet Eggs, and more. The more Christmas-mutated presents you submit to the Present Box, the more gifts you can give away and receive in return.

How to Get Christmas Mutation in Grow a Garden

The Christmas mutation isn’t actually a mutation that your plants can catch. Instead, the Christmas mutation refers to Christmas-themed mutations that your plants can catch during the various weather conditions. The following mutations count as a Christmas mutation in Grow a Garden.

  • Frozen
  • Chilled
  • Ornamented
  • Sub-zero
  • Snowy

Every 10 minutes, the Snow weather starts and applies the Snowy mutation to different plants in your garden. This makes the Christmas mutation condition slightly easier to fulfill. Other weather events will also occur randomly, so you don’t really have to do too much to get the Christmas mutated plants.

If you submit a plant with any of the mutations mentioned above, you will earn points depending on the rarity of the plant itself.

Here’s a tentative table of plant rarity and the points you’ll earn by submitting it for Christmas Harvest.

Grow a Garden Christmas Harvest FAQs

Can I open the Player’s Gift myself?

No, you can not open the Player’s Gift. You must give the Player’s Gift to other players to contribute towards the Christmas Harvest Event and unlock more items from Santa’s Stash.

What is Santa’s Stash in Grow a Garden?

Santa’s Stash is like a Christmas Shop where you can purchase Christmas Presents, Christmas Pets, Fireworks, and other Christmas-themed items in exchange for Sheckles. As the Gifts Counter reaches new milestones, rarer items will unlock and become available for purchase. Santa’s Stash restocks every 60 minutes.

Where did my Present go after giving away the Player’s Gift?

When you give away the Player’s Gift, your present automatically gets added to your inventory. However, the game is currently experiencing issues. If you don’t see your present in your Inventory, leave and rejoin the game, and it will show up.

Next week, the Grow a Garden Christmas Update Part 2 will drop, and some of these things might change. However, we'll have a similar guide ready for you to help you with any complex mechanics and quests.
