Chirs P. might not be there to feed in Grow a Garden, but you can still feed a different NPC, Sam the Seed seller. If you're looking to give him some good food and increase your friendship level for better tier seeds, then keep reading!
How to Unlock Seed Tiers in Grow a Garden
To unlock better tiers in the seeds shop of Grow a Garden, you will have to feed the NPC Sam. You might be wondering how to do it since the Cooking event has been removed from the game, including the Cooking Pot in the middle of the server. However, there is a way to obtain a cooking pot which you can set up in your own garden.
How to Get a Cooking Pot in Grow a Garden
To get a Cooking Pot in Grow a Garden, you can complete one of multiple sets of achievements. The easiest one to do is the Common Achievements. There are a total of five which you need to complete for a Cooking Pot as well as five Silver Common Seeds Pack:
- Shovel 100 Plants - it can't be one use plants like carrots or flowers. I suggest going for Strawberries as they are the cheapest to destroy and rebuild again.
- Harvest 200 Carrots - the cheapest seed and can be bought in bulk ever five minutes
- Gift 1 Carrot - either invite a friend into your server or approach a random and give them the gift.
- Gift 5 Strawberries - same as above
- Sell 500 Strawberries - could take the longest time just for the sheer amount of it. Purchase as many seeds as you can and grab some Sprinklers to speed up the process.
Once you've completed all of the above, go back to the collections and claim the reward. You can now set up the Cooking Pot wherever you like in your garden and prepare some tasty recipes. Keep in mind that you can only feed Sam the NPC once every 24 hours. Work on preparing some better quality meals for him to enjoy to get better XP and advance to the next level of friendship faster.
To cook food, you have to fist get the Cooking Pot by completing various achievements in the game.
All Achievements in grow a garden are in the Garden Guide. This is a permanent item in your inventory which you can move to your hotbar for easy access.
Sam can be fed on a cooldown of 24 hours, which is a lot longer than a regular human. You'll have to wait until the cooldown has passed to give him any more food and increase your friendship level.
