Santa boss always spawns at the same time on all servers, including private ones, every single hour, but this depends on your timezone. So if you want to know when Santa spawns on your specific server at your timezone, be sure to look at the top-left corner of the screen in the main lobby. There you'll see a timer showing you (XX:00) how long it takes to wait before he spawns at the start of each hour.

Once the clock hits XX:00, a rift will appear in the main lobby, as shown on the screenshot above. You can enter this rift, which will immediately teleport you to the Yuri Fortress, as that's where Santa boss spawns to fight players. He looks exactly like your traditional Santa Claus, with a red costume, red hat, and white beard. But this Santa is a boss at Level 5000, so far more powerful than your typical bosses.

Before taking out Santa in the Winter Update, it's recommended to test out various strategies against him in the game's Sandbox mode. If you want to quickly defeat this boss, you need to first learn his moveset, which includes:

  • Present Barrage: Several gift boxes are summoned by Santa and flung all around him. Be careful, as every single box may stun you and cause a ton of damage. There will be a small snowflake effect as the boxes explode.
  • Snowman Summon: Santa summons a number of snowmen. These snowmen, which resemble Soul Manipulation's "Isomer" move, will attack you fiercely despite having minimal health, although their attacks don't stun.
  • Gift Box Punch: Santa surrounds himself with present boxes, and each one of them strikes you with a heavy punch. This is a simple one-shot attack, so easy to dodge.
  • Present Teleportation: Santa will summon three present boxes, and while the other boxes explode, he will teleport at random inside one of them. Your job is to find where he is and attack him.
  • Stun Phase: That's when Santa will be stunned a little after each successful attack.

Once you know all of his moves, you can easily defeat him by using the following Innate Techniques that will allow you to farm this boss for Candy Canes:

Curse Queen: Ghastly FistSlams Santa into the ground with massive power.
Demon Vessel: Flame ArrowSummons a flaming arrow towards Santa, exploding on impact.
