There are 10 Badges in Ice Tycoon 2 that can be obtained by performing a wide variety of tasks. Certain Badges, like the Welcome Badge, can just be obtained by simply playing the game, while others, like the Collector, require you to collect 5 different gems.
In Ice Tycoon 2, certain badges like the Drought & Escapist are easy to acquire, while on the other hand, the Collector requires you to perform specific tasks to unlock it. So, if you are a completionist like me and want to unlock all the badges in Ice Tycoon 2 and are confused about where to begin, here is a detailed guide.
All Badges in Ice Tycoon 2 & How to Unlock Them
Below, you can find all 10 Ice Tycoon 2 Badges and the fastest way to unlock them. Just follow them, and you will get each one with ease.
Welcome
This is the easiest Badge to obtain in the game, as all you have to do is play it once to unlock it.
Escapist
For this, go to the Buy My Items shop on the left side of the map. Then purchase the Heat Crystal for $250 and immediately upgrade it for $1000. Take the Crystal in your hand and go to the top of the yellow mansion. As soon as you enter the mansion, the water will start flooding the floor. Race against it and reach the top to find the Square Trophy. Pick it up to get the Escapist Badge.
Voyager
The next one requires you to shoot down all tall ice spikes. Revisit the Buy My Items Shop and upgrade your Heat Crystal to level 3 ($3000). Now, walk straight from the Buy My Items Shop to reach the other end, where you can find a -30 Super Cold area. Here, you can find tall Ice Spikes. Shoot them down using the cannon on the floating board to reach the other side of the platform. Jump and take the first right to find the Triangle Trophy. Lift it to get the Voyager Badge.
Collector
This is the most challenging one to obtain, as you must obtain 5 different Gemstones and place them on the Gemstone wheel near the Badges area.
- Yellow Gem: Complete the Mansion on all three levels of difficulty to obtain the Key at the top while completing level 3. Then use the Key to open the secret door opposite the mansion. Finish the obby to get the Yellow Gem.
- Red Gem: Inside the Mansion, you can get the Frozen Magma on the second floor. Equip the Frozen Magma and jump inside the burning lava near the Tycoon Progress Menu. At the bottom, you can get the Red Gem.
- Green Gem: For this one, clip through the white snow bushes opposite the Ice Spikes where you went to get the Voyager Badge. This will lead to a secret place where you can find an Abandoned Factory. Walk along the staircases of this building to find a secret room at the top holding the Green Gem.
- Blue Gem: The Blue Gem requires you to build/unlock the Mine Area opposite your base for $5K. Enter the Mine and go towards the left side to find a stack of stones. Break it to enter a secret room that holds the Blue Gem.
- Purple Gem: For the Purple Gem, walk up the slope to find the army of zombies. Defeat them to locate a well at the end. Jump inside the well to find a Purple Gem at the end.
Up & Running Badge
If you have been following up to now, you would have found an Abandoned Factory for the Green Gem. All you have to do is purchase all the upgrades for the Factory, both inside and outside, to get the Badge. This is pretty simple but requires a lot of money ($100K) to set up fully. You can reach this Factory by clipping through the white bush opposite the Ice Spikes.
Drought
Indicative of its name, all you have to do is empty out all the water sources throughout the map. This requires time, as there are multiple Water Sources and you need to empty each one manually.
Complete
This is also linked to the last one, as all you have to do is purchase all of the Tycoon buttons present across the map. This requires a lot of money. So, keep emptying each water source to farm money, which you can then use to unlock the upgrades.
Secret Finder
There are two secrets in the game that you must finish to get the Secret Finder Badge.
- Secret 1: After keeping all the trophies, the golden statue will appear. Climb towards the top and press the green button to get the first secret.
- Secret 2: Open the water tank with half the water in it, then stand inside to fill it automatically.
Ending 1
Ending 1 is very easy to get, as all you have to do is complete the Tycoon and get all the upgrades. At the end, press the Open Gate to get the regular ending for the game.
Ending 2
To get the Ending 2 Badge, you must finish the entire Tycoon without purchasing any items from the Shopkeeper. Once completed, enter the black portal and go through the Lava doors to find the Open Gate button at the end, which is nothing but the alternate Ending 2.
