How to get Boo (Kid) in ASTD – Roblox

You'd better hide the chocolate!

ASTD, or All Star Tower Defense to give it its full name, is one of the top anime-inspired Roblox tower defense games out there. I like to think that it stays at the top thanks to a steady stream of updates that have added new units with unique abilities, fresh battle modes, and loads of cool cosmetics. As you’d expect, the best units need some serious work to get your hands on. So if you’re wondering how to get Boo (Kid) in ASTD on Roblox, read on.

Roblox All Star Tower Defense - How to get Boo (Kid)

If you want to get Boo (Kid) in Roblox ASTD, you’re going to have to jump through some hoops. After all, you’re going to need to evolve Boo (Evil) to get Boo (Kid). If you don’t have Boo (Evil) yet, you will first need to evolve it from Boo (Mind). Don’t have Boo (Mind) yet? Don’t worry, I’ll explain the whole process below.

Once you do have Boo (Evil), it can be evolved into Boo (Kid) by using one Boo (Evil) and one BuuEvolve2. To do this you’re going to need to get the Star Pass, as the BuuEvolve2 is the reward for reaching tier 100 of the Tower once you have the Star Pass. There are four ways to get access to the Star Pass:

  • Pay 800 Robux
  • Use a Star Pass Ultra unit, obtained via Banner Z on World 2
  • Evolving a Mysterious Key (also requires 20 Current Capsules)
  • Trade for one of the above

Boo (Kid) is a seven-star unit based o the Dragon Ball Z character Kid Buu. Before upgrades, its deployment cost is 15,000. It has a range of 40 and a SPA of 5, with its damage (a ground AOE cone) maxing out at more than 80k (or over 16k DPS). This makes Boo (Kid) one of the most desirable units in ASTD right now.

How to get Boo (Evil)

To get Boo (Evil), you will need to evolve Boo (Mind) with one BuuEvolve1. Read on below for how to get Boo (Mind). BuuEvolve1 is the reward for reaching tier 50 of the Tower, but you will have to have upgraded it with the Star Pass (see above). Boo (Evil) is a six-star unit that costs (without upgrades) 1,000 to deploy and does a ground AOE cone attack with a range of 50 and a SPA of 8, which is good for more than 1.5k DPS at max level.

How to get Boo (Mind)

To get Boo (Mind), you need to obtain Tier 1 of the Star Pass as described above. Boo (Mind) has a pre-upgrade deployment cost of 500 and a ground AOE cone attack with a range of 40. The attack has a SPA of 5, with a DPS of more than 1k at the maximum level.
