Domain Expansion is the peak technique every sorcerer strives to master. But you'll have to farm some materials first. Here is everything you need to know about Domain Expansion and how to get it in Jujutsu Infinite.
How to Get Domain Expansion in Jujutsu Infinite
There are two versions of Domain Expansion you can get in Jujutsu Infinite. First is the Incomplete Domain, which you unlock by completing the last story quest at Level 420. The Incomplete Domain gets you almost all the bonuses of a complete one. The only exception is that the innate abilities you use won't have full AoE range inside the domain.
To get the full Domain Expansion, you need to reach Mastery 250 with your Cursed Technique and have at least one Domain Shard in your inventory. Then, open the Innates skills tab and buy the Domain Expansion node all the way to the right. Only Special Grade and Legendary Cursed Techniques have a Domain Expansion, and those are:
- Infinity (Special Grade)
- Soul Manipulation (Special Grade)
- Gambler Fever (Special Grade)
- Demon Vessel (Special Grade)
- Curse Queen (Special Grade)
- Star Rage (Special Grade)
- Hydrokinesis (Legendary)
- Volcano (Legendary)
- Judgeman (Legendary)
How to Get Domain Shards
- Curse Market: You can trade for Domain Shards at the Curse Market, usually with Demon Fingers and Jade Lotuses.
- Chests: You can get Domain Shards from chests with an extremely low chance (Boss > Investigation > AFK > Mission). Use Gourds, Cats, and other consumables to increase the odds.
- Trading: You can trade with other players for them.
- World Loot: If you have the Item Notifier gamepass (2,699 Robux), you'll get notified when a Domain Shard spawns on the map, and you'll know how far away it is from you.
How to Use Domain Expansion in Jujutsu Infinite
To activate your Domain Expansion, first equip it in your Skills menu. Then, you'll have to fill your Domain Meter (blue bar at the bottom of your screen) to 100% by damaging enemies. Finally, press the designated skill hotkey to start the Domain Expansion.
Within your domain, you'll get a 50% increase to your offensive and defensive stats, and all innate skills you cast will have a full AoE effect within the domain, making them undodgeable. In the case of an Incomplete Domain, you'll only get the bonus stats and the confining effect of the barrier around it.
Domain Clashing
If you activate your Domain Expansion at the same time as your opponent or vice versa, you'll enter a Domain Clash minigame. You'll have to click LMB (M1) repeatedly as the red line crosses the light blue section on the meter to increase your Domain's strength.
Whoever wins the clash will have their Domain Expansion go through, and the loser will be left defenseless and get their Domain Meter reset to 0%. Also, you can Domain Clash even with an Incomplete Domain.
How to Counter Domain Expansion in Jujutsu Infinite
Simple Domain
Simple Domain is an ability that you can cast while you're inside someone else's Domain Expansion, and it negates the domain's effects within that area. You can unlock it in the Technique skill tree for 20 SP. Generally, just using your Incomplete Domain is way better than using a Simple Domain.
Hollow Wicker Basket
Hollow Wicker Basket is another ability in the Technique skill tree, and it allows you to completely negate enemy Domain Expansion's effects. However, it also prevents you from using innate techniques. It's down there with the worst skills in JJKINF.
Heavenly Restriction
In Jujutsu Infinite, you can get Heavenly Restriction by buying a gamepass for 1699 Robux. With it, you can ignore most of the Domain Expansion's sure-hit effects, but it isn't as effective as Hollow Wicker Basket.
Well, that covers everything on how to get, use, and even counter a Domain Expansion in Jujutsu Infinite. If you want to learn more tips and tricks, visit the JJKINF section here on Pro Game Guides.
