In the Anime Vanguards Wrathful Assault Update, the developers have added a brand-new limited-time event called the Wrath. This 15 Wave Event has multiple difficulty modes and offers several unique rewards. If you are wondering how the Event works, what rewards you can earn, or which units you need to complete it, here is a detailed guide.

To start the Wrath Event in Anime Vanguards, players must speak with the History's Strongest NPC. Simply open the game and walk to the center of the lobby area to locate this NPC next to the Group beacon tower. Remember, this NPC is responsible for both the Summer and Wrath Events. So choose the correct option to start the Wrath Event.

How does the Wrath Event work in Anime Vanguards

The Wrath is a 15-wave event at Shining Castle in Anime Vanguards that works slightly differently to other raid modes. Before starting the Event, you will be asked to select one of the seven sins from the list, which will have both a positive and negative passive that remains active during the entire game. Below is the list of all these Sins and the effects they provide.

SinEffect
WrathWhenever a unit hits an enemy it has already hit, it gains 50% damage for 30 seconds, stacking with no limit.
PrideYou can only have one unit on the field, but it deals 5× damage, has 50% more range, and can be placed anywhere.
GreedThe first non-farm unit you upgrade becomes the only one you can upgrade, but every copy deals 4× damage and can be upgraded past its max.
LustSelling a fully upgraded unit refunds its placement cost and leaves a copy behind that can't be sold or copied again.
EnvyYour strongest non-farm unit loses 30% damage, and all other non-farm units match its damage.
SlothAll enemies move 30% slower.
GluttonyFarms pay out a second time at the end of every wave.

If you ask me, I would suggest picking Envy, Pride, Greed, or Wrath as the easiest sins if you want to farm the mode. They are comparatively easier than others and help you finish the game quickly.

How to play the Wrath Event in Anime Vanguards - Tips & Tricks

The trick to win the Wrath Event is to abuse the sins offered by the game mode. I recommend picking Envy, as it reduces the strongest non-farm unit's damage by 30% and then applies the same damage number to every non-farm unit on the map.

So, all you have to do is pick a unit with very high damage stats, like Gilgamesh or Alocard with monarch, then use something like the Reimu Unit that attacks every 0.9 seconds and has full AOE, and copy the damage numbers from Gilgamesh even though it's reduced by 30%. Along with that, equip Bounty Hunter to avoid your other units getting mind-controlled by the Original Boss. For money, equip Tempest Pirate or Speed Wagon. If you follow this strategy, you can easily complete even a hard mode in 2 minutes and farm Wrath Coins easily.
