You must play Underwater City infinite mode for a chance to acquire Golden Knight Portals as a reward. But first, you must unlock Underwater City infinite mode by completing all Underwater City story mode levels. Be warned that Golden Knight Portals are not guaranteed in infinite mode, as the drop rates depend on their rarity:

  • Rare Golden Knight Portals (50% drop rate) from Underwater City infinite mode.
  • Epic Golden Knight Portals (30% drop rate) from Underwater City infinite mode.

To get the Legendary Golden Knight Portal, you must host of join the Epic Golden Knight Portal. If successful, you'll have a 60% chance of getting the Legendary Golden Knight Portal as a host. If you join another player's Epic portal, you have a 30% chance of obtaining the Legendary portal as a guest.

You must host or join the Legendary Golden Knight Portal to acquire the Mythic Golden Knight Portal. You'll have a 40% drop chance for Mythic Portal as a host. If you join Legendary Portal, you'll have a 25% Mythic Portal drop chance as a guest.

You must use the Mythic Golden Knight Portal for a chance to get the Secret Golden Knight Portal. If you host a hardened Mythic Portal, there's a 2.5% drop chance for Secret Golden Knight Portal. If you're joining another player's Mythic Portal, there's a 1.5% drop chance of getting Secret Portal as a guest.

How to get Golden Knight Portals fast in Anime Defenders

The fastest way to get any Golden Knight Portal is to trade for it. While you may quickly find someone looking to trade portals in-game, look for Anime Defenders Discord for more trading opportunities.

If you wish to speed up getting the portals in matches, use Wave Jumper (preferably Tier 3) to skip waves and get rewards instantly. You can get Wave Jumpers by completing Story mode chapters. Thanks to these items, you won't have to farm for Golden Knight Portals if you're lucky enough.
