Chicken, Lion, or Wolf?!

As of the Early Access meta, there are five Pets in Grand Blue: Soro, Circus Lion, Small Dog, Chicken, and Celestial Guard. You can keep Pets in Grand Blue, feed them to make them stronger, and even summon them to help with your fights. In this detailed guide, we’ll tell you about all the Pets that are currently obtainable and usable in Grand Blue, including the Chicken, the Circus Lion, and the Celestial Guard (the strongest of them all).

What Are All The Pets in Grand Blue

As of the Early Access meta, Grand Blue has five different pets: Soro, Circus Lion, Small Dog, Chicken, and Celestial Guard.  The obtainment method and abilities of each of these pets are different. Read on to learn more.

How to Get the Soro Pet in Grand Blue

To get the Soro Pet, you need to defeat the Blonde Goblin and the Soro mini-boss on Anchor Town. You can find these in an open area near the East Marine Base on Anchor Town (Feral Dog quest location).

When you defeat both the Blonde Goblin and the Soro mini-boss, there’s a 2% chance that you’ll get the Soro pet. Unlike the Circus Lion, the Soro pet doesn’t work as a mount.

Skills: The Soro pet charges at your enemies to deal damage. This pet can also sit on your enemies to immobilize them and deal damage.

How to Get the Circus Lion Pet in Grand Blue

On the Clown Town Island, go to the Town area (where the Fountain and the Clown Hub are). From there, go right until you reach a big arena, and there you’ll see the Circus Lion and the Beast Tamer NPC.

Defeat both the Beast Tamer and the Circus Lion, and there’s a 0.25% chance that you’ll get the Circus Lion as your pet. If you don’t get it, you’ll have to wait 180 seconds for it to respawn.

The Circus Lion is currently the only pet that you can also use as a Mount.

Skill: The Circus Lion has two skills. For the first skill, the Circus Lion Charges at your enemies to deal damage and knock them back. With the second skill, the Circus Lion roars loudly, dealing damage to your enemies and immobilizing them.

How to Get the Small Dog Pet in Grand Blue

You can get the Small Dog Pet by purchasing it in Clown Town for 10,000 Gold. Go to Clown Town, then head to the Town area (where the Killer Clown mob is). On the right side of the area, you’ll see the Small Dog Pet inside a glass box. Go near that glass box to get the purchase option.

Skills: The Small Dog Pet has two skills: Dog Bark (Barks at your enemies to knock them back) and Small Dog Leap (Strikes your enemies to throw them away a great distance).

How to Get the Chicken Pet in Grand Blue

The Chicken Pet in Grand Blue can be obtained by killing the Chickens near the farmer NPCs at Maple Village. Upon defeat, the Chicken has a 100% chance to drop Raw Chicken and a 0.5% chance to become a pet.

Once you reach Maple Village, go to the centre of the island to find the farmer NPCs and the chickens. Once you kill a chicken, it’ll respawn after a few seconds. Since the drop chance is quite low, you’ll have to grind a little to get the Chicken Pet.

Skill: The Chicken has the Peck Attack skill. When summoned, the Chicken Pet will charge your enemies and use its beak to deal damage.

How to Get the Celestial Guard Pet in Grand Blue

The Celestial Guard pet is obtained by rolling the Celestial Human Race (0.1% chance). Use Race Rerolls to get the Celestial Human race, and you will automatically get the Celestial Guard Pet. Just equip the Fragile ability to be able to summon the Celestial Guard.

The Celestial Guard is easily the best pet in the game, as it allows customization and can use skills or Devil Fruits to fight side by side with your character.

How to Level Up Pets in Grand Blue

While the Celestial Guard pet will level up with your character, you need to feed the pets like Chicken, Soro, Small Dog, and Circus Lion to level them up. To get Pet Food, go to Clown Town and go towards the area where you buy the Small Dog Pet. You’ll see Pet Food on a platform to the left of the Small Dog Pet glass box.

Buy that Pet Food and feed it to your pets to level them up. Leveling up your pets in Grand Blue makes them stronger (increases the damage of all their skills).
