Best Upgrades to get rarer pets in PETS GO
To get rare pets, you need to have the best upgrades, fruits, and potions that increase your luck. Just having upgrades and potions isn't going to do much; instead, you want to combine everything to maximize your luck.
These upgrades are fairly basic and you want to have all of these before starting to consume the potions because without them it's just wasting potions. These upgrades permanently increase your luck, upgrade dice, and give you better chances to get rare pets, so combining them with temporary boosts from potions and fruits will significantly increase your luck in getting rarer pets.

Once you have a good amount of upgrades with good pets and dice that increase your luck, you will want to start consuming all the potions and fruits you have. With fruits, consume whichever ones you have and as many as you can. Below are some of the best potions and fruits to combine together to get the best luck boost in PETS GO.

How to increase luck with Robux to get rare pets in PETS GO
If you are willing to pay a little, you can double your luck with 50 Robux. You can get double luck from the in-game store for 12 hours, which should be enough to score you some good pets. However, this step is not necessary and only worthwhile when you have tons of Robux to spare; otherwise, the method above is sufficient.
How to AFK farm rarer pets in PETS GO
Additionally, PETS GO allows you to AFK farm, meaning that you can get pets when away from your device. It's unlocked by purchasing the auto roll upgrade from the Upgrades! menu at the bottom of your screen. Once you have that, you can click the auto-roll button and the game will keep hatching you newer pets. There will be more upgrades to make the auto-roll faster and better.
When your auto roll is powerful, you can combine that with the other methods to increase your luck with it and then come back to see all the rare pets you have gotten after 20 or 30 minutes. You can leave it for even longer, but by then, a lot of boosts fall off, so it's best to go back and restock the boosts to repeat and reap rare pets.
