The fastest way to get Star Rifts in Anime Defenders is to complete challenges. Challenges are a unique game mode in which players pick a map and emerge victorious to win rewards like Star Rifts. Though these maps look similar to the story ones, they have unique twists/ stipulations that are very simple but make completing them that little bit tougher.

For example, if you look at the above image, you will find that all the enemies on this map will have the ability to regenerate HP, making your life really difficult. So, instead of your usual loadout, try to use units with very low cooldowns and high damage numbers to take down the enemies quickly and get the rewards.

Also, instead of jumping inside any random challenges room, try to play only on maps where you will get your desired materials with a high drop rarity. For instance, if you want to get Star Rift Yellow, there is no use in grinding the above challenges map as there are no drop rewards related to Star Rift Yellow or Star Rift in general. You can either hop onto a different map or try to wait for an hour, where the maps will be swapped with a new set of challenges and rewards.
