Along with the Easter Egg Hunt in Fisch, the developers have also added a new rod to the base game called the Brother's Rod. This is a quest-based rod that revolves around two brothers, Luke and Kael, who have separated from each other and must unite. So, here is a complete quest guide from finding Luke to reuniting both brothers, along with a small showcase of the Brothers' rod.
Complete Castaway Quest Guide - Brother's Rod
To start the Castaway quest, travel to the Isle of New Beginnings and meet Luke at (X= -234, Y= 77, Z= -406). After interacting, you will learn that his Brother has gone missing during the recent storm, and he will be highly grateful if you find him.
Since he does not provide any clues regarding his location, the quest may appear daunting at first. However, after searching around, I found him on a small piece of land at the Cursed Shores at (X= -552.6, Y= 84.3, Z= 1818). This is around the right side of the island, right below the lighthouse. Interact with him, and he will say that he is extremely weak and can only travel after restoring his energy. So, catch any three fish around the island and give them to him to regain his strength.
Now, he will ask you to find his lost pendant on Azure Lagoon island before meeting with his Brother. Travel to Azure Lagoon Island using markers and then go past the Azure of Lagoon Rod to find a small pendant at (X=1369, Y=96, Z=2294). Collect and give it back to Kael.
Finally, return with Kael to the Isle of the Beginnings to reunite him with his Brother, who will then gift the Brother's Rod as a reward.

- Resilience: 10%
- Max Kg: 3000 Kg
- Passive: Grants a 10% chance to duplicate and mutate fish.
The Brother's Rod is a perfect rod for beginners who can use the 10% duplicate and mutate chance to farm money quickly. Other than that, it is a very decent rod that does not provide much in terms of stats for intermediate to advanced fishers in the Second Sea.
