How to get the Death’s Dastardly Cape in Roblox Haunt 2024

Did you get the Cape?

The third in-hub item, Death's Dastardly Cape, is available to get inside the ongoing Roblox The Haunt 2024 event. Like previous in-gear items, this is also associated with a small quest that you must participate in and complete to get the item. So, here is a quick guide explaining the whole procedure.

Death's Dastardly Cape artifact is basically hidden inside one of the multiple mirrors present in the Hall of Villains. So, all you have to do is reach the location and check each of the mirrors available inside the room. If you don't know where the Hall of Villains is, simply take the right cut at the entrance of the mansion and go along the route to find it on the right side.

Once you check the first mirror, the mirror will display some or other message saying that "You can barely feel the presence of the artifact" or "The Artifact feels closer than last time..... but it is still far away", which indicates that the Artifact is hidden far way from the position of the current mirror. So, go a little far from this mirror and try again. If you receive a message like "The Artifact feels closer than last time..... it must be ready", then you are proceeding in the right direction, and you can find the Artifact adjacent to it or very nearby. Otherwise, you are still far away and must proceed in a different direction if you get a repeat of the first message.

Just use these clues and try to get close to the mirror that holds the Artifact. If you find the correct mirror, you will get the message saying, "I Think The Artifact is here." Interact with this particular mirror, and you will get the Artifact from the mirror immediately. In the end, the entire mini-game is all about finding the right mirror using the clues given by other mirrors and exploration.

If you are still confused, I suggest you think of the Hot or Cold game, which you might have played during your childhood days in which one of the players would have hidden a specific object in your house, and the other would roam around asking if they are near the object or far away from it, to which the first player might reply they are getting warmer or getting colder depending on their distance to the hidden object.

What is the use of Death's Dastardly Cape in Roblox Haunt?

The Death's Dastardly Cape allows players to turn completely invisible in the game. As usual, being an in-game gear, it will be eventually used by the players to solve some sort of mystery linked with the mansion or the Headless Hunter that may be the final boss of the Haunt 2024 event. For now, it's a cool item that can be used to jump-scare your friends or other players on your server.
