Step 1: Unlock the Red Belt

The crafting recipe for the Dragonheart can be unlocked only after you obtain the Red Belt from the Dojo Trainer. This is one of the four NPCs that reside in the Dragon Dojo of the Hydra Island in the Third Sea. The other three are Uzoth, Dragon Wizard, and Dragon Hunter. The last one will eventually allow you to craft the Dragonheart sword.

But first, speak to the Dojo Trainer and complete the seventh quest, "Rumbling Waters." This quest requires players to defeat three Sea Beasts that spawn every 2-5 minutes in any of the six Sea Danger Levels in the Third Sea. Here are a few essential tips to help you defeat them:

  • The Sea Beasts will emerge after a heavy downpour, so be prepared once it begins.
  • Don't attempt to take out all the bests on your own, but don't bring too many allies either.
  • The more players attempt to take them out, the stronger these beasts become.
  • The most efficient way of defeating them is from behind, where they can't see you.
  • Be sure to use some of the following fruits against them: Magma V2, Flame, Venom, Blizzard, Sound, Ice, or Dough.

When all three beasts are dead, you need to return to the Dojo Trainer and receive the Red Belt. This is one of the strongest accessories in the game, granting you:

  • +12% Melee Damage
  • +60% Movement Speed

Step 2: Craft the Dragonheart

Once you unlock the Red Belt, be sure to speak to the Dragon Hunter NPC in the Dragon Dojo. At this point, you'll unlock the crafting recipe for the Dragonheart sword, which requires the following materials:

  • 1x Dragon Egg
  • 6x Dinosaur Bone
  • 15x Blaze Ember

It's also highly recommended to upgrade the sword for an extra 7% damage at one of the three Blacksmith NPCs, which you can encounter on one of the three islands: Pirate Village, Kingdom of Rose, or Port Town. Here are the required materials:

  • 10x Blaze Ember
  • 15x Scrap Metal
  • 10x Magma Ore

Note that the Dragonheart sword can hurt almost any type of enemy except the ones who use Blade fruit. The reason is that Blade's passive ability grants its user complete immunity against sword damage. But other than that, it's a great sword and definitely worth crafting.
