The first step to getting the Expert Investigator badge more easily is to select the role of Sporty Kid at the start of the game. This will give you five energy drinks to use right away so you can work out faster. You'll want to focus on getting your Stamina up to level 3 as fast as you can.

As soon as you get into the bunker, head up the stairs on the right and use the treadmill to start increasing your Stamina. Use some of your energy drinks to get there more quickly. At Stamina level 3, you might be able to make the jump across the gap to the Maintenance room, but I would suggest going down, gathering some cash, and grabbing a Bloxy Soda first.

The Bloxy Sodas will increase your speed even more. You can purchase one for 50 Cash in the Shop on the lower level. You can find some cash by opening the drawers all around the lower floor of the bunker. Grab your soda and then start up toward the Maintenance room.

You'll find the ladder leading up to the gap to the Maintenance room on the second floor. It's located on the opposite side of the large TV screen, just past the gym. You'll need to jump across the gap to reach the door. This is where your Stamina and soda will come into use. Use your Bloxy Soda, and then back up just a little bit, run, and jump to make it across.

Inside the maintenance room, you'll find the sleeping detective. There is also a corkboard with some strings and notes. To get the badge, place each note in the correct order, replaying the events of the first Break-In experience. If you've played the first game, this may be easier for you. If not, then you can keep moving the notes around until the strings turn green, suggesting they are in the right spots. Here's the order you need to place them in:

  1. Move In Day!
  2. Explore The House
  3. Pizza Delivery
  4. Breaking News
  5. Board Windows
  6. Hide in Closet
  7. Defend the Basement
  8. Go Shopping
  9. Pizza Boss Fight
  10. Final Boss

Once you get them all in the right order, you'll open the secret compartment where you can claim a special medkit used to heal your teammates while in battle. It will have limited charges, so use it wisely. You'll also earn the Expert Investigator badge!
