If you thought getting scammed by the Goblin King once was enough, well it really wasn't, since he is back, this time in the form of the Goblin Lord. He'll take all of your money and your Ores, but give you a Goblin Crown Recipe in return, which is admittedly really cool, so here's everything that you need to do for it in the Forge.
Where to Find the Goblin Lord NPC in the Forge
Unlike when he was Goblin King and guarding the Goblin Cave at the Forgotten Kingdom island, this time the Goblin Lord can be found on the Frostspeare Expanse island (Forge's World 3). You need to be level 70 to even get on the island, but we also recommend not completing this quest until you are endgame, as he will take a lot of your money away, which you need in order to get better Pickaxes and mine better Ore.
If you do have the money to spare and want to indulge the Goblin Ki-Lord, we will let you know how exactly you can find him.
- First go up the path to the Spiders Cave.
- Before you enter, you will see some rocks which you can climb on the left to a ledge.
- In front of you, there is a cave entrance guarded by two Goblins. Make sure you're not a zombie when approaching. We haven't had the chance to test it out, but considering they wouldn't allow zombies passage on W2, we can assume it will be the same here.
- Interact with the Goblin Lord and he will give you five quests to complete.
How to Unlock the Forge Goblin's Crown Recipe
In order to get the Goblin Crown Recipe in the Forge, you first need to complete a few of the Goblin Lord's quests. There will be a total of five, and here is everything you need to give him in order to get the Helmet recipe.
Goblin Lord 1
- Give the Goblin Lord 20k Gold
This one is the easiest, since it's just giving the Goblin Lord money. Do it and he will immediately give you the next quest.
Goblin Lord 2
- Give the Goblin Lord 50k Gold
- Bring x1 Velchire
The second Goblin Lord quest requires you to give him money as well as do some mining. Velchire is a Legendary ore which you can get by mining Ice Boulders in the Spiders Cave, as well as all Crystals at the Peak Cave. We suggest grabbing at least an Aqua Pickaxe to handle this endeavor.
Goblin Lord 3
- Give the Goblin Lord 75k Gold
- Bring x2 Sanctis
The best way to farm money in the Forge is by forging Heavy Chestplates. You can set up an AFK Small Crystal farm on the two Crystals which spawn to the right of the Boss gate in the Peak cave. You can also farm the Sanctis Ore here from these Small Crystals, or by mining Ice Boulders and the rest of the Crystals in the Peak cave.
Goblin Lord 4
- Give the Goblin 150k Gold
- Bring x3 Snowite
Tips for farming from above still apply. As for Snowite, they have a pretty good spawn rate at Icy Pebbles in the Spiders Cave (especially for a Legendary Ore). We suggest farming these, as you will only need a hit or two to mine the Icy Pebbles if you have a better Pickaxe.
Let's Get Over It
- Give the Goblin Lord 250k Gold
- Bring x3 Iceite
The final (actually final, not fake final) quest for the Goblin Lord requires you to give him even more money, as well as three Iceite ores. This is an Ore which can be mined from Ice Rocks and Boulders, as well as all Crystals. We suggest mining for it in the Spiders Cave since you will be faster mining these.
Once you've complete all of the Goblin Lord's quests, he will give you the Goblin Crown recipe. It's a 1 in 6 chance for you to craft it at the Forge, so good luck when doing it!
