To finish Floor 1 of the Hollow Hub, players must collect the Night Relic by finding the Five Missing Pieces, then use them in the Puzzle Room to solve the Puzzle by aligning the pieces to connect the starting and ending nodes, then receive the Relic to exit the floor via the Elevator.
The First Night Relic in The Hollow Hub focuses on escaping the Seek Monster and collecting all five missing pieces around the lobby. While this sounds easy, doing both tasks simultaneously can be extremely daunting. So, if you are struggling like me, here is a guide you can follow to complete it.
How to start the First Floor (Floor I) Quest in The Hollow Hub
To start the Hollow Hub Quest, simply walk inside the main Hollow building and enter the elevator. Press I to reach the building's first floor and start the quest, which involves collecting the five missing pieces while avoiding the Seek Monster.
All 5 Missing Pieces Locations on the First Floor of the Hollow Hub
The most Important thing to remember is that each of the 5 Missing Pieces has no fixed location. In fact, they are all random, so you'll need to explore the map to find each one. However, a few locations frequently have several Missing Pieces, so check them before exploring on your own.
Missing Piece Location 1
Youwill usually find a Missing Piece in the center of the room, with the four photographs in the back. Look for these photographs to find this Missing Piece pretty quickly.
Missing Piece Location 2
Inside the Maze, you will often find a room section/corner on the left or right side with a staircase that leads downward. Check these corners for a Missing Piece at the start or end of the staircase.
Missing Piece Location 3
Another common place to find a Missing Piece is in front of a balcony-like area. Check this area below for a Missing Piece.
Missing Piece Location 4
As you go deeper into the Maze, you will find circular corners that lead to an adjacent section. In most areas, you'll find Missing Pieces at the center of these corners.
Missing Piece Location 5
You can find Missing Pieces in the corridor leading to the final Puzzle Room.
How to solve the Puzzle using the Missing Pieces in Hollow The Hub
After collecting all five Missing Pieces, find the Puzzle Room. This room will have a blue barrier. Explore the area to find the corridor leading to the blue-barrier room. Enter the room to find a Puzzle board on the left side. Interact with it to place all five missing pieces. Now, look at the entire board and move the pieces to connect both the starting and ending nodes. Each player also gets a random puzzle piece. So, be patient and try to solve the puzzle piece on your own.
Once you solve it, you will receive the Night Relic I. Return to the elevator (another room with a blue corridor) to get the first Relic and unlock the Lord Umberhallow Bloxikin UGC.
How do you escape Seek on the First Floor of the Hollow Event?
You must escape the Seek NPC to clear this floor; otherwise, if you get caught, you will have to restart the entire floor from collecting the Missing Pieces. Below are some tips & tricks to escape the Seek creature on this floor.
- Try entering the Blue Shield Rooms: Puzzle Room & Elevator Room. These rooms are safe zones, and Seek can't enter them.
- You can always outrun the Seek creature if you can swap his targets to other players on the server. So, instead of running for a safe room, find other players and try to get Seek to chase them.
