How to get the Oscar Rod in Fisch

In the latest Lobster Mechanics update, the developers of Fisch have added several rods to the base game, and among them, the most sought-after one is the Oscar rod. This is a quest-based rod that requires you to find Oscar's Amulet and then travel to a secret underground location to find the rod. So, if you are confused about the entire procedure, here is a step-by-step guide to get the Oscar Rod in Fisch.

How to acquire Oscar Rod in Fisch

Firstly, to start the Oscar rod quest, you have to meet the Dead Man Joe NPC on the Isle of New Beginnings on the second sea. Yes, this is a second sea quest, and if you are a player below level 100, you cannot participate in the pursuit. His exact GPS location is (-377, 78.4, -447.4).

After interacting with him, he will start explaining the history of a fisherman called Oscar and his legendary rod. He says that to acquire his rod, you must travel to an underground cave. But, before that, you need his Amulet at Grand Reef to guide you along the path and protect your soul from decaying.

Hop onto your boat and travel to the first sea using the Sea Traveler NPC at Waveborne. Now, go to Grand Reed Island at GPS Location (-3559, 144, 481.4) to find a sparkling amulet near a broken ferry. Collect it and again return to the Dead Man Joe NPC in the second sea.

Showing the Amulet to the Dead Man Joe NPC will make him reveal the secret underground opening near the Cursed Shores, where you can find the Oscar Rod.

Go to the Cursed Shore, and at GPS coordinates (-340.5, 78.5, 1708.4), you will find a secret opening that will lead you to the Oscar rod location. But, before moving ahead, ensure you have equipped the Amulet along with your Diving Gears.

Swim through the narrow passage and keep going until you reach the end, where you will find a place to resurface. Here, you will find the yellow and red colored Oscar Rod on the left side of the area among a pile of fish. Pay E$ 5,000,000, and the rod will be all yours!
