You can get the Rotting Pumpkin UGC by:
- Going to Floor 8 of The Hollow Hub.
- Find and enter the Warden area. You’ll see five items on a table.
- Place all five items from the Warden area on their dedicated pedestals found across Floor 8. You can only pick up one item at a time.
Avoid the anomaly on this floor, or you’ll have to restart from the elevator. After you place the fifth item on the pedestal, you’ll get the Rotting Pumpkin.
With Floor 8 unlocked, you can now complete another floor quest to find a Relic and trade it for a free UGC item called the Rotting Pumpkin. In this guide, we’ll tell you everything that you need to do to get the Rotting Pumpkin in The Hollow. So, let’s dive right into it.
How to Start & Complete the Floor 8 Relic Quest in The Hollow Hub
To get the Rotting Pumpkin in The Hollow, you need to first get the Floor 8 Relic. For that, you’ll have to:
- Go to The Hollow Hub.
- Enter the elevator and go to Floor 8.
- Find the Warden area.
Since the floors are randomly generated, you’ll have to find the Warden area yourself. Once you find the Warden area, you can start the quest for the Floor 8 Relic. Here’s what you’ll need to do:
1. Find the Warden Area
Since the maze is always randomly generated, you’ll have to find the Warden area yourself. Once you find the Warden area, go inside, and you’ll find five items on a table. The items are: Bell, Potion, Lantern, Skull, and Candle.
2. Place the Items on the Right Pedestal
There are five items, but you can only pick up one item at a time. Pick up any you want, then find its dedicated pedestal across the Floor 8 maze, and place the item on it.
If the monster catches you, you’ll have to go back to the elevator. That’s why it is highly recommended that you explore the maze beforehand, find all the pedestals, and then try to place all the items in a single run.
Even if you can’t complete it in a single run, do not leave The Hollow. If you restart from the elevator, you’ll get the same maze.
3. Get Back to the Elevator
After placing the last item, you’ll get the Floor 8 Relic. You need to bring that Relic back to the elevator without getting caught by the monster. If you get caught, you’ll have to start over.
As soon as you get back to the elevator, you’ll get the Rotting Pumpkin in The Hollow.
