You can obtain the Rune and Key for the Roblox Halloween Spotlight Event by solving the mystery of the Cursed Cathedral, a brand new case in Armless Detective. In this guide we'll tell you about all you need to know to become the ace detective, catch your suspect and deliver some candy while riding a skateboard... wait what?
How to Get the Rune in Armless Detective
To get the Rune, you have to collect three pieces of evidence, pinpoint the correct suspect, and successfully solve the case. There are seven different pieces of evidence that you'll have to keep an eye out for. Their presence or absence will help you narrow your pool of suspects until there is only one possible culprit left. We'll make sure you're ready for all possibilities by going over every step you need to take.
How to Break the Cathedral's Seal
As soon as you spawn into the level, go right onto the grass and follow the path around the walls until you reach a clearing with a giant maze in front of you on a wall.

Once you arrive at the maze, pull out your Magnet and use it to drag the ball toward the appropriately colored block. First, you need to make the ball touch the orange block, then the blue one, after which the maze will shift down and allow you to reach the green block. If you're unsure which color you need to reach next, the ball will leave a trail in the matching color.
Make sure you zoom into the first-person camera to make things easier to navigate. Controlling the ball can get a bit fiddly, but just take it slow and you'll be done in no time. After you're done, make your way back to the start of the level and walk up the stairs. Interact with the big red seal to go inside the cathedral.

First Piece of Evidence - Vengeful Spirits
In order to find the spirit and determine whether they're vengeful or just frightened, you need to walk around the level with the Black light in your hand. Just go around the level until you spot a glowing green apparition. Walk towards it and note down its reaction.
At first, it will start sheepishly floating away from you, and then one of two things will happen. It will either fly up into the air or rush forward and attack you. Don't worry, it can't harm you. If this happens, note it down in your Evidence Folder as one of your confirmed pieces of evidence.

Second Piece of Evidence - Candy
This one is pretty easy to spot if you know what you're looking for. While walking around the level, be on the lookout for candy, a yellow pack of gum to be precise. You can find it on the ground, especially near the entrance of the level, and if you do, note it down as one of your collected pieces of evidence.

Third Piece of Evidence - Ransacked
To confirm or rule out whether the culprit ransacked the shed, you first need to find its key. The key is located inside the cathedral near one of the walls. Pick it up, make your way toward the shed.

Once outside the cathedral, turn right and follow the path up the small hill and across the bridge until you reach the shed.

Open it with the key and check if it's been ransacked. If you can see some gardening supplies, a potted plant, and a big pumpkin, everything is in its place. However, if all you find is a shovel and an empty pot, it has been ransacked, and you should note it down as a clue. Compare the images below if you're unsure how it's supposed to look.

Fourth Piece of Evidence - Grave Robbery
- While still in the shed, use your Grabby Arm and pick up the shovel standing at the back of the shed.
- Go back across the bridge, and you'll notice some graves in the ground.
- With your Grabby Arm still in hand, interact with the graves to either dig up some bones or find out that the graves are empty.
- Check a few more times just to be safe, and if they all turn up empty, then your culprit is a grave robber, and you can circle this down as one of your pieces of evidence.

Fifth Piece of Evidence - Hidden Evidence
This one is pretty simple to do, but it can be a bit annoying because you might have to go through the whole level before you find it. All you have to do is equip your Magnet and walk around the crime scene with it activated.
I recommend switching to third-person mode, because the magnet will pull the hidden object above your head, making it hard to see. Just be thorough and make sure you check every corner of the level. If nothing shows up, look for other clues, but if an object comes flying at you, that's one more piece of evidence logged.
Sixth Piece of Evidence - Targeted Attacks
While investigating the crime scene, pay attention to the stone walls around you, because the suspect might have left you a message. Sometimes, you might come across these drawings that were left behind to mock you. Little do they know that all they did was get you one step closer to solving this case and filling out your Evidence Folder.

Seventh Piece of Evidence - Fake Diamond
I recommend you check this one last, because it can be the most time-consuming. Inside the cathedral, you'll find eight mirrors, a magnifying glass symbol on the ground, and a diamond in the back. You need to orient the mirrors so that, when you shine a light on them with your Magnifying Glass while standing on the marked spot on the ground, the light passes through all the mirrors and pierces the diamond in the back. The starting position of each mirror is randomized, but if you copy what I did in the image below, you'll be just fine.

Once it gets hit by the light, the diamond will either glow bright red, proving its authenticity, or it will be pitch black, just a fake left behind by the thief. If it's black like in the image below, note it down as a clue.

Selecting Your Suspect and Getting the Rune
Once you're sure you've found all three pieces of evidence, open up your Evidence Folder and flip to the last page. There you can see what your prime suspect looks like and their name.

Remember them, then head back to the gate at the beginning of the level. Interact with it, and you'll be taken to a police lineup where you can identify your suspect. If you get it right, congratulations! You've solved the case and earned yourself The Rune from the Armless Detective Cursed Cathedral map and are one step closer to completing The Roblox Halloween Spotlight Event.
How to Get the Key in Armless Detective
After successfully solving the case once, you have to go back in again. A true detective's work is never done. Follow all the steps to solve the case as you did the first time. One big difference, however, is a cracked window inside the cathedral. Walk through it and you'll see a mysterious altar. Equip your Grabby Arm, then interact with the button-looking thing in the middle until it starts glowing an ominous red.

Once that happens, resume solving the case normally. Collect all three pieces of evidence and exit the level as you did before. Make sure you pick the correct suspect, and if you're right, instead of the game bringing you back to the lobby, it'll start the challenge you need to do for the Key.
The Trick or Treat Skateboard Section
After a long day of being the greatest detective in the world, it's time to unwind. You'll find yourself on a skateboard with your boss telling you that you have to deliver 150 candy buckets to the houses around this neighbourhood.

Each house has a button above it that you need to press to throw a bucket. Do this 150 times while riding on your skateboard and doing some cool tricks to impress the local kids, and you'll get The Key from Armless Detective. Sounds simple enough, right?
Once you reach around 60 candy bucket deliveries, things change in a big way. Something that can only be described as a cosmic deity of destruction shows up and starts wrecking the world around you.

You have to continue delivering the candy while running away from it and making sure you don't fall of the road as the ground begins to unravel around you. It can be challenging to maintain a high speed while delivering the candy buckets to all the houses. My advice is to go just fast enough to stay ahead of the cosmic destroyer of worlds, so it's easier for you to land those button inputs. If you see it approaching you from behind, speed up.
If you fall off the road or if it catches you, you'll get a funny animation of it slapping you across the screen and an option to retry. It will restart you just before the mysterious being shows up, so be ready. Once you manage to deliver all 150 candy buckets, you win! You get The Key from the Armless Detective Roblox Halloween Event Spotlight, and as a bonus, your character does a little dance. Congratulations!
